So I finally got around to see MI1 and MI2, as I'm slowly trying to catch up with the franchise with Fallout coming out next week. I did watch Rogue Nation in theater 3 years ago, which was the first MI movie I've seen lol. MI1 was awesome, and I also thoroughly enjoyed MI2. Not sure why MI2 gets so much hate. Other than the cheesy fight scene towards the end, I thought it was still an interesting plot and an entertaining movie. And my goodness, Thandie Newton was stunningly gorgeous in this movie. Can't believe I've been missing out on this franchise for so many years, but glad I'm slowly catching up. MI franchise is definitely in a league of its own when it comes to action movies. Looking forward to watching MI3 and MI4 over the next few days!

![]() Oh and it's AoU, unless Hawkeye somehow snuck into AoE. And he very well might've. I always doze off for bits and pieces of that ungodly marathon of a movie... But yeah in general, Ghost Protocol is entirely its action scenes. Not that the rest of the stuff is bad, it's just unremarkable. I kinda fall increasingly out of love with the newer two the more I watch them. Meanwhile I find more to enjoy in the first three the more I watch those. |

I don't think it's a flaw, not just because it's clearly defined (we see his death, she explains who he was to her), but also because I think it ties in with Ethan's story of revenge against the death of his wife, and Brandt's tension with him over his perceived failures. It's not perfect, but I think that's why that part of character development is in the story, to play off the other parts of dealing with loss. The part of GP that I didn't get (I probably missed something) is if Ethan really killed all those guys that supposedly killed his wife, just to make her cover of death more bullet proof? Chris |

Hmm that is pretty weird. It makes sense that the disclaimer pop up if a 4K blu-ray is connected to a 1080p TV, but strange that it would come up when it's properly set up to a 4K TV. Must have been some sort of glitch where it initially assumed that it wasn't connected to a 4K TV.
