Theatrical cut, in fact it's a clone of the Arrow A/V presentation and is well worth picking up as a stop gap while we wait for someone to treat it right.

I'm trying to complete the trilogy.

I've seen all 3 films but I only actually own NOTLD.

I'll definitely pick up that release of Dawn at some point.

That just leaves Day.

They're just using the Shout transfer, I presume you're not multiregionable otherwise why hunt down the Austrian version?

Not at the moment unfortunately.

If I were I'd just pick up the Scream disc.

Even cheaper at DeepDiscount, only 9.75 and there's a 15% off site-wide coupon GIFT4ME. I just ordered it yesterday and am going to sell off my Arrow set.

Just a note on the AU release. Just picked it up and some of the Special Features will not work on My Sony BDP-S5200, including The Dead Will Walk Doc, 1:15 min runtime and Trailers. I select them and nothing happens but they blink. Galleries, Commentary, and the Australian extra Conversation with George Romero at MIFF do work. May be my player or disc, don't know. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Those extras are likely in the PAL format. it's something you'll run into a lot with imports of catalog titles, nothing's wrong with your disc or your player.

Had no idea this was OOP. O.o Guess I'll just wait for the inevitable new edition to come out. It worked with Evil Dead II and Texas Chainsaw!

I'm sure that it's just a matter of time.

I'd love to own a good version of Dawn of the Dead to sit alongside my Japanese Blu-ray of Night of the Living Dead (1968), but I'm not going to go for the expensive out-of-print market.

I really can't recommend the AU disc enough at this point, it's $12 on Amazon US.

None of the bds are really worthy of the film itself. The baked-in DNR is a huge problem. I'm happy to wait for a definitive edition, which I've a feeling is coming sooner rather than later.

I'm a great fan of Romero dead series... finally I had a new blu-ray copy of Anchorbay release, I don't saw the umbrella edition, but the AB looks great

It's far from great, but it is passable until we get a proper release.

I was lucky enough to recently score a copy of the 4 disc ultimate edition DVD. That will hold me over until a new Blu.
