Drat, I may need to drop it on Gulliver. Was hoping that would last a smidge longer. Like a week or two.

Yep, I'll probably be kicking myself later, if (when?) Gulliver ends up as a sale title, but I figured what the heck, I'll go ahead and order now.

Put in an order with SAE for Moby Dick. A blind buy, but I'm conscious it's moving quickly and would be disappointed to miss out. Especially with good reviews here and on Beaver.

Been a while since I paid full price for a TT, or so it seems.

Happy to do so. Also took the opportunity to squeeze in The Remains of the Day; hard to beat at $14.95.

The member wasn't lying from the perspective that there were only 70 copies in stock at the TT web site at that time; there are 5 now. That doesn't account for whatever stock SAE has on hand and whether or not the full amount was replicated.

yeah. personally speaking i made the decision to pick this up at full TT price from TT website (something i rarely do) because i'm going to assume (and can be wrong) that the next time SAE has a sale it won't be until next holiday season.

so might as well just go ahead and pick this up now. no way this will be around next christmas.

Maybe, maybe not. This year, they had three Twilight Time sales. The first was in June, and was one of the more typical "$10 off" sales. The second was the "7 for $70" sale in August/September. And the third being the current one.

There's no reason I can see to assume they won't have another one until a year from now or thereaboots.

Glad I picked it up during this sale! It was another blind buy based on the recommendations of some in this thread, so I'm excited to dive into it when my order gets here!

So that makes 16 titles that sold out during the sale? And Mississippi Burning sold out of stock at SAE?

I'd say that's a pretty successful sale for TT. Some really great movies got picked up by quite a few people during it.

As I've said earlier, the order I placed on 11/18 (for 12 titles) shipped on Friday. MyUSPS dashboard says it'll be arriving on Tuesday, but based on where the package was reported to be this afternoon, I will probably get it on Monday.

You typically don't get an email from SAE letting you know if your order has shipped. You're best off logging into your account and see if your order has been given a tracking number. You can track your order directly from there.

I do. I've placed 16 orders with SAE, and have gotten shipping notices by email for all but the one I placed two days ago.

I used to get shipping notices from SAE, but not during this period. They're probably utilizing all personnel to ship the stuff out the door.

Maybe they're going to spam? I get an email every time as well. My 11/29 second sale order is still "pending."
