I just wish I'd bought La Bamba before it went out of stock. Loved Lou Diamond Phillips' portrayal of Ritchie Valens.

Gary Busey is electric as Buddy Holly, especially during the concert sequences where he does all his own performing. The rest of the film seems a little undercooked dramatically and the production values are kind of TV-ish at times but Busey's performance and the music really elevate it.

I treated myself last night and ordered both Suddenly, Last Summer and The Long, Hot Summer from SAE. I've seen neither, but I love Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner, as well as Taylor and Newman, so I feel like these should be pretty safe blind-buys.

Bunny Lake is Missing is also sold out according to a Facebook post by a user.

The Buddy Holly Story never made it on the Low Quantity Announcement list before it sold out. Another reminder to not wait too long if you want some of these titles. It was available for three years, so this sale finally closed the door on it.

Also, I was going to post here recommending Bunny Lake is Missing as a great title to pick up during the sale. Never mind now. TT just posted it has sold out. The remaining stock on this one went fast. It wasn't on the LQA either, but I see that Friday there was a notice it was down to the final 30 copies. This Sony sale is finishing off the stock on some excellent films. To all those who picked up Bunny Lake is Missing, good job. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Heads up, in response to a question about which title did TT think would sell out next, TT was not sure, but they speculate it could be Cat Ballou.....

Twilight Time Movies: It might be Cat Ballou which is now selling extraordinarily quickly.

I think a lot of those 7 for $70 titles they would have to create a sale at $5 each to finally sell out of a lot of them unless want to have them for another year or two .
