As for "obscure" releases...I'm sorry to tell you this, but a fairly high percentage of TT's releases are "broad", "mainstream" titles. They just happen to be titles that their home studios aren't inclined to release on Blu-ray...you know, kinda like Woody Allen's classic films. I mean, seriously. Sleepless in Seattle? As Good as It Gets? Philadelphia? These aren't mainstream? Twilight Time's agenda isn't to release obscure films, but to release notable films that their home studios are letting fall through the cracks. And yes, the Woody films fall into that category. |

Everyone acts like these labels, Criterior, Twilight, Scream Factory, etc., release only special films or worthwhile films. The truth is always that they release what they can get their hands on and feel they can profit from. Always. |

THE BRIDE WORE BLACK (1968) BLU-RAY - Jan 20th -> François Truffaut's movie ?
Previously they were on DVD through MGM which explains why in the UK mk2 didn't release all the movies like "Mississippi Mermaid", etc... does that imply that we could expect at last "La Sirène du Mississippi" aka "Mississipi Mairmaid" on blu-ray via Twilight Time ??? ![]() |

You're right, I didn't notice she was not in America...where December 24th is basically just another day, conducting-business-wise.
