The Trainspotting teaser trailer included on the Shallow Grave disc is there because it was part of the original VHS release of Shallow Grave in the UK. It's explained on the disc. Sadly I don't take it as any sign that Criterion will eventually be releasing Trainspotting.

In case you guys didn't realize it, I own one of the oldest/most popular U2 fan websites on the internet. I am about to redesign the whole thing soon. It is celebrating its 17th year online now. http://www.U2Station.com is the URL. |

That's possible (and it was my first thought as well), but I have to agree with the others that it's more likely to be A Raisin in the Sun (a Columbia title, which would likely be licensed to Criterion).

(Darn, someone at CriterionCast already beat me to Jazz on a Summer Day...
That red sun sure is hot, isn't it? ![]() Quote:

The craze sparked a brief renaissance for Vinton's weird artsy claymation in the late 80's, which is why I thought it was the bigscreen Vinton retrospective that played art theaters at the time (aw, c'mon, you don't remember Rex & Herb?) And Magnolia already owns "Adventures of Mark Twain". Quote:
![]() Pretty sure Apple Corps didn't own a production stake in AHDN the way they did in Help, Yellow Submarine and Let It Be (the first Beatles movie was someone else's idea), so we can't expect a private Apple/Capitol in-house disk as with the other three. Voyager was first out with that CD-Rom, but thought AHDN had changed hands since then in the US...Although there's no more Miramax to release the DVD. Last edited by EricJ; 01-01-2014 at 08:47 PM. |
