I was told to return them both together, I got my Eraserhead.

Anyway, I emailed him right about the time I posted my comment. ALREADY RESPONDED!!!!!! He is sending my Stagecoach replacement today!

I sent in my STAGECOACH and others a little bit before you did and received my replacements in January, I think. I wonder why yours has taken so long. Glad it's on the way though.

My two replacement blu-rays came in the mail today. I sent them off 25 March, making for about a ten business-day round trip. Good stuff.

The Summer Hours disc was labeled as a second printing; Gomorrah, an "unofficial" title, seems to just be a new first-printing disc.

Après une analyse très poussée réalisée par nos équipes de R&D, il apparaît que ces disques présentent des caractéristiques techniques dégradées du fait d’un lot résine utilisé lors de la fabrication des Blu-Ray en 2009.
Lors des contrôles réalisés lors du process de fabrication, il était impossible de détecter ce problème car les caractéristiques techniques des disques étaient bonnes. C’est avec le temps que la résine s’est dégradée avec pour conséquence l'illisibilité des Blu-Ray.
Seuls deux titres fabriqués par MPO sont à ce jour reconnus comme affectés par ce problème.
MPO met donc en place un service d’échange des disques ; l'échange sera réalisé sur simple envoi des Blu-Ray défectueux de Silent Hill (le film) et de the Myth à l'adresse suivante :

Has there been any update on if Criterion will replace discs not on their official list?

I still have not done anything with my defective discs for Days of Heaven, Gomorrah, and Monsoon Wedding. I was waiting for an official word, and kinda lost track of this thread with everything that has been going on in my life lately. Is it safe to send those three as well now?

I sent in DAYS OF HEAVEN last October and received a replacement in January. It was the last one to arrive of the five discs I mailed them for replacement.

Could this be the label (print) showing through? Because I noticed this on many of my Criterions as well.


I sent in my faulty Criterions on the 18th of March - even those not on the list - and I have yet to receive any replacements whatsoever. They were individually labeled and had a brief explanation of the problem for each disc.

The Wallace & Gromit BD (which is OOP) seems to suffer from bronzing as well.

Five Inches - it wouldn't hurt to email them and inquire to see if they have received your shipment. Just provide them with the details and even the pic of the contents. Worst case result from emailing is that they don't respond and you are in the same position of wondering.

I've posted about this in the similar thread but for Lions Gate BDs, but my Saw 3D no longer plays properly as of this month. I've emailed and called Lionsgate Home Entertainment and they are refusing to replace it, instead telling me to update my firmware and clear my BD cache (I did, as if it matters). Terrible customer service.

EVERYBODY CHECK ALL Paramount ,Dreamworks ,Lionsgate Blurays for BRONZING
Released during 2006-2011 USA versions.
Paramount Blurays are worsening with age.
