Try their eBay store as sometimes it's cheaper to order through their than their web site. The items are a bit more expensive but they do offer free shipping.

For anyone who's been wanting red cases, I found some on eBay. I just ordered a set of five to start off with as I only have a few titles I want in a red case). It doesn't look like they have an HD DVD logo on them from the photos, but I can let you all know once I get my order in.

Thanks for posting, looking forward to your review. The only red case I have right now is for my French import of Army of Darkness, so I'd be interested in getting more if the quality is there.

Discmakers only sell cases in lots of 25. As well, they currently only carry single, double, and triple-disc cases.

Shipping costs are about the same with both DM and Casetopia, at least they were for me. Via 'Media Mail', the cost to ship (25) single disc cases was a little over $5. Similar for double disc cases. However, once you get in to the larger capacity cases, the shipping cost per disc goes up because they can get fewer cases in to their standard shipping box and the weight increases too. Oftentimes this will eliminate the 'Media Mail' shipping option entirely. So you have to play around with quantities of each type to get the most for your shipping dollar. For example, on my last order with Casetopia, I could only get 10 x 6-disc, 8 x 2-disc, and 6 x 3-disc and still be able to select the 'Media Mail' option.

As for the Casetopia quality issues, the troubles seem to be with the bigger multi-disc cases, whereas the singles and doubles are OK. The case bodies are OK but their clear "jackets" that hold the cover art are dirty/smudged/etc.

Someone recommended YENS cases and they were so cheap on amazon, plus had prime shipping, I went ahead and ordered 25 as replacements for damaged or grungy cases. Got them in and while they feel nice and thick they almost feel TOO thick and smooth. Feel like I should have paid more for some viva elite cases.

I received my red cases in the mail yesterday, and finally am switching out a few titles I wanted to. There's no HD DVD logo on them, so there's no need to worry about that. The spine of them looks like a Vortex case rather than a Viva Elite case, but the material is high quality. I'd recommend them for those who want red cases and don't want to spend a lot of money on the refurbished HD DVD cases that are on eBay.

I was one of the people that recommended those... I love them and have replaced roughly half of my entire collection with them! I use the double cases whether I have 2 discs or not, makes the cases feel even stronger...

They're very nice cases, I just feel like they don't feel like blu ray cases. Hard to explain I guess. I am glad you love them though, they're very cost effective. If I liked them I would replace my whole collection with them.

I need a four disc case that can hold the discs that those WB 4 Film Favorites are in. I have five of them and it drives me nuts.

Anyone know of any good options for ordering 3-disc Vortex cases? The only option I know of is Casetopia, but I'd rather order from somewhere else if possible. I've had bad experiences with getting dirty Vortex cases from them in the past.

Nope, I was told by Casetopia that they could do those and Black Elites but they would have to be in order of about 50k.

I wish we could convince them to purchase black Elites. I'd easily buy enough to convert all my horror movies and Twilight Time titles.

Yeah tell me about it. I mean I was thinking maybe if I talked to the admin we could do a group buy or something.

I mean 50,000 and say everyone commits to buying 100. That would mean we wouldn't only need 500 people for it. Better yet if we could get 1000 people interested we would only have to buy 50 cases each.

I checked out of shopping for replacement cases for years, because I figured by now every color would be available one day.

Genuinely surprised pickings continue to be so slim.

Might have to place an order for the clear Vortex cases, even though I kind of hate that style (at least when compared to Elite).

Yeah one would think that. I mean why would Elite not have all the colors out.
And I too dislike Vortexes. I would rather own all Elite cases.
