October announcements on Monday.

What are chances we get upgrades on ... Cat People (Val Lewton) .. and... The Innocents ... on 4K?

Cat People is a Warner title, so it's definitely possible. No chance of The Innocents though since it's with Fox/Disney. Honestly, I'm just hoping they release the long rumored Freaks.

Yeah, would definitely love ..FREAKS. Even tho I've given up on that one ever happening.

Would love a ..CAT PEOPLE 4K ... upgrade.

Didn't know .. Innocents ..was with Disney now.

I just bought the Cat People blu-ray from the Prime sales. If it gets a 4K, you can thank me for the sacrifice

They'd both make for great 4Ks given how their restorations are already breathtaking just on blu-ray. I hope we'll at least get a blu-ray release of The Devil and Daniel Webster.

Saw Freaks in 35mm a couple of weeks back. Don't really have anything to contribute to the discussion about a potential release, just felt like bragging about it.

I don't know if it's a title that Criterion would release, but I would love a release of Vincent Price's "House on Haunted Hill."

I would also like:

Twentieth Century (1934)
Ball of Fire (1941)
The More the Merrier (1943)
Baby Face (1933)
Red-Headed Woman (1932)

I'm not region free either. I have some of the region-free Indicator and I just got my first Imprint. I believe all Imprint are region-free--at least I hope so!

For some overseas releases, I see ratings labels. Are those stickers or part of the cover art?

I'm not region-free yet. PS5 isn't region-free is it? While I understand region A/B, etc. I don't really know how the region-free players work, I assume it has to do with how the information on the disc is coded... I'm not a tech person, I just want to use whatever device to watch the film.

Someone told me the 20th Century Indicator blu was region locked, and I believed them.

The combination of that and the weird dearth of Park Chan Wook movies in Region A is really pushing me. Plus, of course, Zardoz.

Dammit...I just need to do it.

They're part of the cover art. Some have reversible covers that exclude the ratings (my 4k of Perfume from Germany is like that).

What scenes were/weren’t in it? I assume is was the same 60-ish minute version we all know, but was the end at least uncut and in 35mm quality, was it a blow-up of that 16mm source, or was it just a 35mm version of the DVD?
