I didn't know anything about it. I saw a thread for it here for some time, and then I got more interested in seeing it after hearing about Arbelos' recent release of Damnation, but still had no idea it was that long a film until now.

True. I do a little bit of both. I used to list Floating Weeds with nearly every prediction, as it's my most wanted title. I play the odds and figure it'll most likely be announced as a Summer release, but I'll take a Winter release at this point!

Just crossing my fingers for a Japanese title this month. At this point I'm pretty sure the leaker was full of it. They did say that May would have 7 titles or something like that, but something tells me that won't be happening.

Same here. It feels like over the past few years, their Japanese releases have really diminished.

Speaking of slow cinema, we are way overdue for some more Antonioni. It's been five long years since Blow Up. Thankfully Sony and Indicator at least gave us The Passenger in the interim.

Ive been saying this since I opened an account here but Zabriskie Point would be such a treat to own in HD (or better).

If I read right it was shot on the Sony CineAlta HDW-F900, a digital cam of that era, which captures in 1080p, so yeah it is going to show shortcomings when upscaled on a 4k display, which have nothing to do with the encoding.
