Okay, I see your point. Another thing they could do is add custom playlists or collections, and perhaps even make the link to them shareable with other Channel members. Similar to what you can do on Letterboxd.

Someone might find this useful - Attached is a zipped CSV of all the films from the Criterion Channel. There's nearly 3,000 listed. The data is mostly clean with the exception of the country column. This is a pull from the site using PowerQuery.

I wonder if it could be a sign of a big Truffaut set coming for July?

They collections that exist now often don't include the supplements for any of the films...

The first two you mentioned were probably mentioned a while back. I don't frequently check the blu-ray.com forums for Criterion but I do know that it was mentioned a year ago on the Criterion subreddit. For specifics, I believe it was February 7th, 2023 (I ordered And Everything Is Going Fine on Blu-ray the day the news came out in case I have to search for it later on). Schizopolis also went OOP as well. All three of these are now owned by Soderbergh himself as he has mentioned some plans of a boxset in the works including those films and also some rare ones like Kafka (Re-edited into Mr. Kneff now).

I always assumed that Fincher's Curious Case was OOP for a while but I guess it must've been recently. Either way, this one definitely won't catch anyone's attention because of how common copies of this release was.

I mean we have been waiting for the Adventures of Antoine Doinel set that should've arrived after the 4K restoration screenings from Janus Films a while back. I believe those films deserves to be part of the July/November lineups.

Gonna hate myself if Day for Night does come back in print for the set but at the same time, this was one of my first French (and also Criterion) films that I have ever seen and it still is my favorite Truffaut film by far.

This was a post I had been meaning to get round to replying to. Thanks Duke for bringing this film up (had never heard of The Face of Another, but after checking it out I've made a note of the film and it's gone on my Blu-ray upgrades want list).

I wonder if there will be another stand alone release from the Olympics boxed set in July to coincide with the Olympics coming up. Criterion did have a laserdisc of Olympia Parts One and Two. They have done that in years past.

I should have bought the Korda box, but at least I have the Fuller and Saura sets. I really wish Criterion would release Saura's other dance films on Blu: Flamenco; Flamenco, Flamenco; Salome, and Fados.

Perhaps if anybody actually bought the Flamenco, Flamenco blu-ray the other three would have been released?

I think more likely they're doing a box set of the Doniel films, plus upgrades of Day for Night and Shoot the Pianist. Kino only just released the seven titles MGM has North American rights to last year, including a 4-film set.

Having seen my second total Eclipse earlier this week, I find it ironic that the Eclipse sets were being discussed over the last few days. I miss those and I wish Criterion would restart that series up with new blu-ray releases.

Corman picked up The Gunfighter, which he apparently had a hand in writing as a staff writer at the studio at the time, but he didn't actually take any movies. He just pointed and told stories.

I already own Flamenco^2 and Fados. If Criterion can release Pina on Blu, I don't see why they can't release other dance films, unless Pina didn't sell.
