It'd be crazy if they release 4K titles on December though which would be on time for the 12th anniversary of Criterion's debut with Blu-ray. I don't think that's going to happen but that would be coincidental or perhaps, intentional by Criterion.

Still hoping that Criterion announces it today but I can wait. (I'm guessing Chungking Express may be a December release also)

Yeah, normally when they skip the day that they usually give us titles, the next day it happens pretty early. I just want to know about the Irishman.

To the best of my knowledge, there aren't any Carl Th. Dreyer upgrades on the schedule. We do try to announce our upcoming releases as far in advance as possible, so the best way to stay up-to-date on our future release plans is to check our "Coming Soon" section and e-newsletter. Something tells me we aren't going to see the Nov announcements today either. I noticed they just put up an advert for their Town Bloody Hall release. They never put up a new page, only to be removed a few hours later for a new releases announcement. What gives? It might be helpful if Criterion posted something on Twitter letting us know.

What's the rush? They'll announce the titles when they're ready.

It's not a matter of "rush". They usually announce on the 15th, so it's natural for Criterion collectors to wonder why they're taking so long.

They haven't even announce the rest of the releases for November besides Essential Fellini so why would they announce for December.

IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE is a part of the retrospective section of NYFF, at this rate the WKW boxset is unlikely for 2020, but would love to be surprised.
