And he came out to throw out a first pitch in the series, and they selected to not take part in it. Not sure why anybody is getting upset over it.

Because he's a crybaby for anyone that doesn't go his way. He left and new leadership stepped in. It's not like he wouldn't have told his teammates to do the same thing if Greg Maddux had picked against them and then wanted to throw out a pitch.

Hoping to see the Carlos Marmol implosion happen during this series. The Cardinals have owned Marmol and he couldn't handle the pressure closing for the Cubs during meaningless regular season games. I can only imagine what will happen if he gets in during the NLCS. My prediction is he only throws balls and walks however many batters he gets until he gets pulled.

When was the last time Marmol even touched the ball? He wasn't in the Atlanta series.

Looks like the last time he pitched was September 27 in a blowout win against the Rockies. He wasn't on the roster for the NLDS.

Chipper is still a de facto member of the team and organization. He only retired last year and played with virtually everybody on the team, and was seen at numerous games this year. I think he intended to rally the Braves with his comments, but the current players took it the wrong way.
