Well...that's it for me...the game is done lol. Wow..the Yankees Offense just wasn't there at all. CC wasn't there either.

Hey SF sorry I didnt show up here tonite but I had a long winded exam tonite , looks like Cliff Lee performed like a World Series Pitcher should, he was quite a pick up for the Phil's this year prolly the best pick up in all of the majors for that matter.I'll catch up with for a bit through game two,

Saw- He was impressive...just too bad the Yankees couldn't have made the game more interesting. Now I have to go to class tomorrow and hear the Phillies fans bust my balls.

Ya..I totally agree with you that Lee was probably the best pick of the year and in all of baseball.

5-0 now..ya I am shutting this monstrosity off.

6-1... those extra runs the bullpen gave up really hurt now... espcially if arod gets a hit here

Boo, don't give up until the 27th out.

The runs in the 8th and 9th really came back to haunt them. If it was still 2-0 now, it'd be a different game.

But at least they didn't get shut out.

This game reminds me of Game 1 of the '96 World Series.

They had home field advantage, and lost Gm 1 12-1. They also lost Gm 2, but obviously went on to win the World Series.
