Grats Boston. Huge Cardinals fan here, but you simply played much better than us. I'm just glad it was a half decent series and not just a sweep or blowout like so many World Series have been lately.

The Cardinals gave the Sox a hell of a run in this series, so as a Red Sox fan my hat is definitely off to them for their effort. Plus, an extra tip of the hat for the class that Cardinals fans have shown throughout. A good portion of Red Sox Nation could learn a few lessons on how to be civil from them.

Seriously. The Cards have won 2 championships recently and have the 2nd most titles all-time. This isn't some long suffering franchise. They'll be back.

I wonder how Theo Epstein is feeling about now. He left the Sox in a mess. They were saddled with a bunch of bad deals he made. The team unloaded most of those deals and ended up winning a championship. Meanwhile he's with a deadbeat organization.

They probably hate it...but it's the Yankees so no one really cares what they think.

In answer to how Theo's feeling right now from our 'expert' I would imagine he's feeling pretty good being that he ignited the run that the Red Sox have been on since the early 2000's and most of the key players on this team were brought in under his tenure. He also hired Farrell as pitching coach in 2006. But hey he ruined the Red Sox. He also has plenty of friends still in the organization.

Not really sure where our 'expert' gets his assumption that Theo destroyed the Red Sox when the opposite would be true.
