Both Gary Sanchez and that reliever for the Yanks need to get suspended for multiple games and starts. Give Sanchez a 10 game suspension and the reliever a 21 game suspension.

Going to call this a nice rebound season for Minnesota, we definitely need at least 1 more arm in the starting rotation and a better bullpen. Bats seem to be rounding into form so we may be set there.

Sounds like he was holding out until the last second for the Cubs before accepting being traded to the Astros.

We've acquired Franklin Perez, Daz Cameron & Jake Rogers from the Astros in exchange for Justin Verlander & a PTBNL or cash considerations.

It makes Houston favorites in the AL to make it to the World Series. Verlander is one of the best postseason pitchers today and he gives them a true ace with Dallas looking iffy since his injury.

Bad pitching (1st inning deficits -even Kershaw allowed 1st 4 batters to reach-, HRs, bullpen meltdowns,...)
+ Bad hitting (much less BB and power than previous, leadoff batters not reaching,...)
+ Bad baserunning (Taylor CS twice in a few days after trying to advance on a WP,...)
+ Bad fielding (Seager bobbles a DP ball, runner safe and later scoring on a 2b, Taylor trapping a flyball, Granderson kicking a ball away, Darvish missing the bag on a 3-1 groundout,...)
+ Bad luck (at one point, 3 consecutive 2b by opponent were either weak ground balls splitting infielders or weak flyballs dropping in front of OF), 1-9 in 1- or 2-runs games,...
+ bad deadline tradings (Darvish 5.34 ERA, Granderson .104 BA,...)
= 1-14 skid by the Dodgers... And no end in sight...

Not as bad as the 1-15 results would indicate (some tough breaks). Until a few days ago, I was still convincing myself it was just a rough patch but now I'm really worried, we're headed towards a monumental collapse.
