Suspicious of what? He went from a Pirates team where he had limited playing time and no chance to succeed to a Jays team that has allowed his talents to mature.

Who knows how many players in the league are diamonds in the rough stuck as utility guys on the bench. Some teams just can't recognize talent when they have it.

I say drug test him, I'm sure he'll come back clean.

The Yankees have no answer for this guy.

A guy who has hit no more than 16HR's in a season all of a sudden is on pace for 50HR's and you're not the least bit suspicious?

I'm not, especially since it really seems to be hurting the Yankees.

Have you seen the Jays lineup. Everyone can hit homers. The Jays have an awesome hitting coach and just last year Hill and Lind both hit 35+hr out of nowhere.

You can clearly see the positive and relaxed atmosphere surrounding the Jays clubhouse which makes playing baseball alot more fun and sets the players at ease in the batters box.

Bautista is no joke, the guy can flat out hit.

The Yanks will win the division at least let us have our Homerun Champ.

Twins need to put Morneau out for the season or bring him back already, can't believe he's been out for over a month with that concussion.

Yep. When you go to the baseball website look in your top right corner of the page and there's a link to the NBA, College Football, College Basketball, NHL, NFL, etc. websites.

No player with half a brain would ever fail a drug test. First off the MLBPA doesn't blood test which means the players can use HGH since a urine test won't detect HGH. In addition the drug testers can't keep up with the chemists that are creating designer drugs. If you get caught using drugs in MLB you are an idiot. You know what drugs they test for so you just have to use a little common sense and stay away from those drugs.

Makes you wonder about guys like Roger Clemens and Jim Thome and A-Rod who willingly admitted to it.

Nationals placed RHP Stephen Strasburg on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 22, with a right forearm flexor strain.
With all the hubub surrounding Strasburg and whether or not he's already injury-prone, it still makes the most sense from an organizational standpoint to be as careful as possible. An innings cap of 140-150 innings was rumored going into the season, and he's reached 123 2/3 innings so far. Even if or when he does come back this season, he may only get a few more starts before he is shut down for good. Aug. 24 - 3:42 pm et
