When are people going to start talking about Andrelton Simmons in the NL ROY race? He just won NL Rookie of the Month for June. He's hitting .326 with 3 HRs and 14 RBIs. In 27 games, he has 10 multi-hit games (Harper had 9).

Uhh, Encarcion isn't even on the ballot for final player. It's 5 pitchers.

Yu will get voted in, but he shouldn't. Peavy should be the obvious choice, but Yu will get the international vote.

I won't say Nathan, Andrus, and/or Harrison don't totally deserve to be all stars, but Wash shouldn't have added all of them. 8 All Stars from one team is ridiculous.

*EDIT* Ok, I didn't realize till now that the Manager picks the 5 players for the Final Vote. Ok yeah, I agree the 5 choices are just wrong. I will say I still think Jake Peavy should be that Final Vote winner IMHO.

The Cubs have their first 4 game win streak of the season with last night's win over the Braves. The Cubs have won 5 of their last 6 games since calling up Anthony Rizzo.

Atlanta is now 0-11 on Mondays this season.
