I can't imagine a better choice than Reynolds as Deadpool after seeing his antics in Blade Trinity (despite what I thought of the movie). It's like he was practicing for Deadpool back in 2003.

Looking forward to the new trailer.

Some/most of the SDCC trailers are never supposed to see the light of day or sometimes they get added to the Blu-ray release. So if we get lucky and can score a leaked copy then watch it immediately.

It's hard to believe this film is a by-product of the "everyone-loves-to-hate-it" X-Men Origins.

I'm glad that Fox took a chance on this film. Sounds like we'll be getting something fun and special. And they let it be R, which is really appreciated.

I still wish Matthew Vaughn was directing this one, but we should have an awesome film to enjoy come February!

Very true. They saw his passion for the character, and didn't toss him out. I hope this film is good and that it pays off for everyone involved. I think it's going to be really original (and apparently pretty hardcore), so it helps keep the CBM genre fresh. Especially since Deadpool is such a unique character, he deserves these fun, balls to the walls movies that are R rated and just feel like this nutball Deadpool grabbed you by the hand and is leading you on this crazy adventure down the rabbit hole that are comics.

Can't wait for this.

I doubt it will get Watchmen numbers unless reviews and positive word of mouth buoy it to unprecedented numbers.
