Man I am so hyped for this movie that I have read the last 20 pages if this thread 3 times in hopes for more Deadpool overload! Just shy of 48 hours and I will be walking out of the theatres grinning from ear to ear!

Nope. It's already been greenlit. Barring some weird catastrophe, the advanced ticket sales and buzz already have this film making lots of money; so the sequel has already been greenlit with same writing duo penning the second script.

can't freaking wait!!!

only 61 hours to go!!

on a side-note.....i finally got an email yesterday that my Deadpool & Cable Omnibus that i ordered on 1/28/16 from cheapgraphicnovels.com has shipped!!!

can't wait to check that thing out!!!

The reviews are solid . I had doubts, but it looks like Fox will have a new franchise. It will be interesting to watch its box office run.

It was tracking very well even before the strong reviews. Nothing playing in theaters now to compete with...it is poised for a great run.

my sister's work schedule for Friday got changed……she was going to watch the kids for us. I'm going to talk to my brother in law today (we work at the same company) to see if he'll watch them for us. Just got back from seeing this...Well worth the wait and exceeded my expectations, pretty much a perfect blend of everything I wanted..I was afraid it would try too hard to be funny and cram in a lot of childish crude humor, which there is but not ott..quite a few dick jokes though

This one wasn't made for much, and it won't take much to recoup the budget. With how it's tracking, it's good to start work now to make sure they don't wait too long for a sequel. It's a smart move.

Agreed. It's getting solid reviews, made for a $58 million roughly and it's tracking now for a $65-$70 million debut. A lot of buzz for the film and it seems like it'll be off to a good start.
