She's the one who said in the special features of the Wolverine movie that she thinks that the fans will really like the way they took the Deadpool character in that film.

I can't stand her, and really hope that she moves on, she has no idea what the fans want, period. She only gets an idea when fans backlash about her stupid crap. Now she's on record on the X-Men First Class special features taking all the credit for the idea of the first class movie... what a tool.

Deadpool was born of the era where Liefeld's aesthetic had heavy draw. A lot of people might make fun of Liefield's art design, but Deadpool made fun of the TONE of that era of comics. Even if the guy doesn't find direct parodies of his work funny, maybe he does have a sense of humor about the tone of the 90s anti-hero.

He co-created Cable, right? Cable and Deadpool were tied together for a while. You don't think Liefield appreciated Deadpool's subversive style? He's done art for Deadpool too, even in recent years. You don't think he likes the Deadpool sense of humor?

I love the Cable & Deadpool series. It might just be my favorite arc of both characters. As for Liefield, yeah I don't like his art either, but I do welcome his enthusiasm about the current state of the film.

I am trying to not get my hopes up, but I sure do want this to get made. If the DP movie was to come out this year, I might be more excited for it than any other film this year; which is really saying something.
