Just got my wife and I tickets for the Saturday Feb 13th 5:30pm showing. 2ND BEST SEATS IN THE THEATRE!

Nice! I'm pretty sure I got a group of friends going to a local midnight release so that will be fun. So excited about this film.

I would be going to the very first screening, but I have to work at 10pm both Thursday and Friday night. My wife works until 6:30pm. So, it's impossible for us to make those nights happen. So, Saturday is the first chance we have since she is off. I'll have to sacrifice some sleep in order to make that 5:30pm screening and still be able to make work on time that night, but it sure as shit will be worth it!

my wife threw a wrench into things by planning my daughters b-day party that weekend.

already told her I'm seeing it opening weekend.......so she better figure it out if she wants to go.

Well, "Deadpool" is connected to the X-Men cinematic universe, like it or not. Last time I checked the trailers, I even spotted two X-Men in there.

Barely connected. Fox just makes it up as they go. I don't think anyone has a problem with Deapdool being connected, everyone just wants it to make sense. Fans shouldn't be forced into making timelines and piecing things together. These movies don't fit together like they should if this was all planned. We just don't want to constantly hear about making them fit.

That's your line of thought and I respect it. But part of the fun is making them fit into one continuity, and it works. It's possible. I did it. It's just fun.

You can have your fun, but it's simply not necessary to be choking the threads with what are nothing more than fan theories, especially when you yourself have a website dedicated to the topic.

It's not canon. Unless it is canon it doesn't matter. You can't make them fit when the parts don't add up. It is like I said before, trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

listening to you constantly talk about the "timeline" is not fun.....it's annoying......I don't think I've seen a single person say they give a sh!t about the timeline.......let alone if this movie ties into Wolverine: Origins.

So we were over at my wife's sisters house for dinner tonight, and My brother-in-law was expressing how he really wanted to see Deadpool in the theaters, but his wife didn't want to see it. I told him my wife and I were going and he could tag along with us. His wife said he could go with us and she would watch all of our kids as she " didn't want to go and see a HORROR movie". We were laughing at her. We loaded up a trailer and had her watch it.

She claimed " Oh I love Ryan Renyolds, he is so hot and funny...! When does this come out?" So now we are all gong on Valentines day to see DEADPOOL!!

Oh yeah..... This movie is going to be fun.

Why do people keep judging what a film is by its title? It is like all those people who are going to be suckered into seeing the film because all the marketing is making it look like a romance film.

It is going to be glorious seeing all of those sucker reviews.
