Pretty much the same although I do have some Funko figures (none of Deadpool though) and I use to have a Deadpool shirt.

I'm just that poor fan of Hawkeye that has to deal with all the jokes about Hawkeye being useless... and deal with even less merchandise then Black Widow.

You aren't alone. Hawkeye was my favorite Avenger (moreso tied with Hulk) before the MCU movies came out.

The MCU hasn't done any negative impact on characters for me, they actually got me to love Iron Man and pull Captain America up and away from being my most disliked main Marvel character.

Hawkguy is still my number one.

I'm too defensive when some @$$-clown on the internet who thinks he's qualified to review a movie insults me for spending my money on something??

I'll be 40 in two months and I'll be watching this Friday with a big shit eating grin on my face. Hell, I even changed my avatar from the lovely Alexandra Daddario to Deadpool in anticipation for Friday.

I guess I may be a turbo-nerd since I have a Deadpool Funko as well as a couple of shirts. Oh well, I guess there are worse things in life to be called.

Just saw an IMAX presentation of Deadpool and this film is an A+ adaptation of Deadpool. Absolutely perfect adaptation of the character and comic, also bringing actual tears to my eyes was the perfect adaptation of Colossus. As in standing up and someone give a slow clap for Colossus. He was always my favorite X-Men character and it's as if the filmmakers knew and loved the comic and 1990s X-Men cartoon to a T. He is perfect - funny, wants to do the right thing, very Russian, and he feels metal unlike the aluminum foiled downgraded version in Singer's X-Mens.

While the movie was funny, don't expect it to be non-stop funny even when the jokes are flowing. That's still Deadpool's character - it has nothing to with jokes not working or not. The only times where I bawled out laughing were ALL scenes involving Deadpool and the two X-Men characters. The chemistry among the three was something quite special and touched an emotional nerve I havent felt in any superhero movie. Maybe a bit for Guardians but I didnt grow up with Guardians. Deadpool and Colossus I have followed for a long time. Negasonic was quite awesome as well - she had some great moments.

All the inside jokes were excellent - taking shots at Green Lantern, Wolverine Origins, cliches, even Ryan Reynolds himself.

The film is entertaining from beginning to end AND is actually a touching love story. Monica is quite good and likable in this. Reynolds has achieved something amazing.

Ajax was I guess forgetable but the actor has presence - he'll be an entertaining actor to watch in future films.

The only negative was that I would have liked to know Gina Carona's character's name spoken in the film - I dont remember hearing her name in the film rather than google who she is in the Marvel Universe.

As I have the same birthday as Ryan Reynolds, I actually guessed the post-credit scene. I read nothing about it and did not want to get spoiled yet I had a feeling that Deadpool would have that post-credit scene. It's a generational thing.

But damn, Colossus...f*ck yeah. Colossus!!

Kick-Ass: A+
Kingsmen: B+
Deadpool: A+

That is a very accurate review of Deadpool, and I'll take your word on this over these "experts" who really have no idea who Deadpool would be anyway...

Also, Turbo-nerdism isn't a bag/negative thing. I'm the biggest Harry Potter turbo nerd.

I have a Hermoine poster in my living room, a movie poster for each of the 8 films, multiple t-shirts, figurines, a Gringotts piggy bank, multiple copies of each book and each blu ray, blankets, a robe, a wand, and 3 tattoos.

The Netflix Daredevil series was also refreshing in this post-911 age we live in. But yeah, I'm still very much looking forward to Batman v Superman, X-Men Apocalypse, and CA: Civil War.
Fixed that for you. After all, this IS Deadpool that we are talking about!

Considering it's Valentine's Day this weekend I'm going to laugh hearing any stories where a guy talks his date into going and she doesn't know what it's really about.

Where I live there is a Cinetopia. A few of their rooms have lounge/couch seating and they also have a nice looking restaurant on the other side of the building. Apparently this weekend they're having a deal for a romantic dinner for two and a choice of one of three movies. One of which is Deadpool.
