Holy crap, I forgot about Fant4stic, & I own it.

Sorry. To be fair, if I lived in South America, I probably wouldn't have mentioned NA

Don't know much about Deadpool and was never super-keen on seeing this, but reviews/friends have swayed me. Looks like I'll be seeing it tonight.

Got my ticket for tomorrow. Can not wait. E

very reviewer and Fan I follow that have similar taste to mine have loved it. even a couple of the reviewers I disagree with on occasion are loving this. Soooooo good to see.

And as a plus having read through several of the dissenting opinion reviews I have come to believe that this movie is scoring low with a particular type of reviewer and that type of reviewer I almost never find has similar taste to me so it sounds like this movie is pleasing the right people and pi$$ing off the right people and as such it appears to be exactly what it is meant to be.

Tomorrow can not come fast enough.

Its not necessary, especially since it wasn't shot with IMAX cameras, but I saw it at my local IMAX theater and it looked solid.

Yeah I checked the prices after I typed that and decided against it. $19 a ticket because it's also in DBox (stuuuupid) so I'll just watch the standard showing. I feel like there should be a joke about that very situation built into the movie.

Thanks for the reply though.

Just saw Deadpool. Fun movie, great action, good story and unique way of telling it. Not disappointed. Looking forward to more Deadpool!

Technically speaking, "The Last Stand" was a commercial hit and I loved it.
First Class is a far superior movie, but it wasn't a big hit like the others. Unfortunately...........

It did well enough to warrant a sequel, which is what matters. At least the series is still going.

I know I'm that guy but to be fair it doesn't just look like another hit in the X-men universe it also appears to be the only X-men movie in the X-men universe . Still I enjoy the other films as stories about mutants (I have just resolved to not thinking of them as X-men and more of a Side story) especially X1,X2,First Class, And Days of Future Past. I guess I am more of a 2 and done kind of guy. I am looking forward to Apocalypse though.

Went with a group of friends last night. No special screening such as IMAX or large screen format, just standard movie theater.

Pretty packed theater too. A lot of 20-something year olds (nothing short of what I expected). I was surprised with how respectful and well behaved the audience was.

Of course, when the laughs came the entire audience roared with laughter. Which is why seeing comedies such as this with large amounts of people are always funnier.

And when I say this movie is full of laughs, I mean it. Never have I laughed so hard in a theater seeing a movie before. Most comedies I see get a slight chuckle and a few giggles out of me; but my god, Deadpool DELIVERED when it came to jokes. I caught myself laughing out loud numerous times.

Other than the outrageous humor, gore filled violent gags, self-awareness, fourth-wall breaking, action packed scenes, this is by far the BEST film I have seen this year. Too soon to say? I think not.

Not only did Deadpool have the greatest marketing in the history of film, but it also had the greatest/creative opening credits of all time. An entertaining movie indeed.

Bring on the sequel!

P.S. Day One purchase (obviously) for me. I'm going to wait for the inevitable "unrated" double-dip edition.

Back from my 2nd viewing, and it was better this time around. It was an 11am showing, whereas last night was at 7pm. Wasn't as crowded, so laughter didn't cover up any lines after the joke dropped.

Now, here, have this grain of salt or 2... but this is up there with Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America Winter Soldier for my favorite Marvel movies.

It's soooooo damn good.

I'm hoping the Blu-ray has both cuts on the first release. More like The Wolverine (even though they put the unrated cut on the 3D release) and less like Days of Future Past (which I still haven't seen because I was waiting for the new cut and when it came out I was broke).
