My 6pm Showing for tonight currently has 7 seats sold. My wife, me, and my friend Zach make up 3 of those.

The opening credits alone have more laughs than most comedies that I have seen recently, and especially more than Zoolander 2.

I rated it 5/5 ... I really think it's a 4.5 out of 5 movie (wish polls would do half star ratings on here) but rating it 4/5 seemed to lower it TOO much in my opinion. FUN FUN movie. people were cracking up every few minutes

I really want Jon Schnepp to win that $25 bet he's been hyping up for weeks.

C'mon, America! Get your ass to the theaters this weekend!

yeah, the whole audience was laughing at the credits. Zoolander 2 was just boring with one or two laughs

I had the same thing done to Inside Out. It was a 4.5/5 for me but I felt 4/5 was too low so I was forced to round it off to a 5/5.

This is outrageous fun. The marketing campaign was inventive, but the trailers actually undersell the movie, and make it look more juvenile than it is. If you think it's going to be goofy (like I did), then you are wrong. Ryan Reynolds absilutely owns this film, and just for comparison, he is easily as good playing Deadpool as Hugh Jackman is playing Wolverine.

I went in with measured expectations, but the movie far exceeded them. Not only is it a damn good time at the movies, it actually manages to inject humanity into a superhero film, without bloating it with the existential themes and heavy moralism that has become so pervasive in other superhero films. In this way, it actually reminded me of the original Superman film with Christopher Reeve.

And once again, so fun, too. And the irony is, while I would think hard about taking an eight-year-old to Deadpool, I would really have no problem letting a thirteen-year-old see it.

Took my sixteen-year-old to see it. It helps to not care that you're mom is sitting next to you when she's a Ryan Reynolds and Marvel fangirl.

This is the point where superhero movies start branching out from the original, nakedly calculated narrow focus of familiar, archetypal heroes in overblown melodramas. Guardians of the Galaxy proved it could be done. Deadpool and Suicide Squad are here to establish the trend. Thank God. Without these, we were trapped with Disney and Warner cranking out their railroad schedule of interconnected sequels for the next 10 years.

There was an era in the '90s where most comics-book adaptations were not Marvel or DC mainstream superheroes. The Crow, Men In Black, The Rocketeer, and The Mask came out of the independent comics boom of the preceding years. Because they were new to the non-comics public, and not mired in intertitle continuity, they were free to be outrageous. Then it all died out, for some reason. If we can't have movies based on independent comics again because Marvel and DC adaptations have sucked up all the money, at least we deserve some of the Big Two's stranger offerings.

Wow 90 is better than I ever could have expected this is awesome for the franchise. I would love to see studios, game devs, tv shows have to take the character seriously in its potential

Deadpool wasn't even rated R over here. It was MA15. I couldn't believe some parents were bringing in their little kids to watch it. I saw a few and they must have been 8-10 years old. Definitely wouldn't be bringing young kids to it...

I decided not to make the trek to my the IMAX theater closest (1.5 hours away) to me. Opted for the D-Box Cinemark instead (saved about an hour round trip for that), and it was fun. I don't think that an IMAX experience would have made it better, but it was a lot of fun. I probably won't see it again until it makes it's way to blu-ray.

I'm curious about it in an Atmos experience, but no theaters in my vicinity have been upgraded. I don't think I'm making the 2.5 hour trip (one way) to Columbus to see it a second time...I liked it, but I didn't fall in love with it.

Yeah this was definitely NOT for kids. Some really hard R scenes in there.
