Toe to toe? I would rather see a team up!

Their team ups usually consists of Wolverine cutting Deadpool up anyways.

I thought he would be a good Cable ever since Avatar. I think he might be too old now though.

People hating the original Wolverine costume are in the wrong thread. The original Wolverine costume is quintessential comic book beauty that would translate into cinematic beauty very well. It's just a wonderful suit.
I think some of you have no taste. Just that, sorry.

Wolverine's outfit will look good onscreen if they gave it a chance.

No one is hating on it. It is the outfit that comes to mind when I think of comic Wolverine but like Hawkeye's iconic outfit, it won't work in live action unless it is heavily changed like Batman's suit.

And I think Wolverine's costume would be perfect, it's the only reason I'm ready for a new Wolverine after Jackman is done with Old Man Logan.

I love the suit. But the character and the world Singer created doesn't support that kind of fantastical design so much. If it was MCU? Sure.. they ran off the ground w/ their character's looks. It's a much more muted down look w/ Fox. Even w/ the designs they chose w/ First Class and NTW in Deadpool.. they're rather conservative in how outlandish they can go. They look practical, if that makes sense.

I would have loved to have seen that deleted scene cut into the film but it wasn't. It's a fun little bit but needless all the same.

Talking about muted down... not sure how I feel about those suits they're wearing in Apocalypse.

For me, an even bigger win than Ryan Reynolds getting his career boosted and getting an R rated comic book film that is both really good AND successful, is the way that this film sticks it to the asshats at FOX! This will teach them to LET THE ARTISTS DO THEIR F@CKIN' JOBS AND KEEP YOUR DAMN NOSES OUT OF IT!!!

So many times over the hears I've heard about how the execs make all kinds of changes because they think they know what's best. Or, they cancel enjoyable/unique TV series before they even get a chance to plant themselves firmly! Just let the artistic integrity do its work. An audience knows what it likes and will support the hell out of something that they can tell has been made with passion. We can tell when the heart has been ripped out of a project because the creative team is no longer invested since the execs start throwing "you can't..." or "you have to change..." or "this needs to be..." around at it.

This entire film and situation is a giant middle finger to that corporate mentality of anti-art.

Singer just got kicked in the teeth on how to do a marvel movie. I hope it obliterates his Xmen movie records... Deadpools only 100 million away from beating every one of his bad films

Sorry but passion is only one part of the equation lol. Plenty of movies have come and gone with great passion, and little meddling that nobody cared about it lol.

Passion and room to breath doesn't translate to success lol.

Great post.

By the way, you're Canadian. X-Men are the greatest cinematic superheroes ever been in history, but you know WHO would top them?

Hawkeye without mask is not Hawkeye, and the actor looks bad for the part anyway.

No solo Marvel character debut movie has ever made as much as R-rated, no-3D Deadpool.

And a franchise is born.

Please. I agree that they can probably find someone who looks better as Hawkeye but even in the comics they have started moving Hawkeye away from his masked outfits and they have done fantastic with his design.

I thought this one was available in 3D? I don't care much for 3D so I haven't looked but I heard it was.
