Uhhhhhh... no. Hawkeye has grown to the point where the mask doesn't matter. The character has developed a lot to where in or out of the costume (any variation of it under the name) is irrelevant.

Add in... I'm not all that preferred toward his current suit. But he looks good in it and that's ok.

Logan, of all the characters to argue this about, really doesn't need the mask to be the character we love.

Batman, you can argue that his whole person, is very much tied to the suit more than say.... Hawkeye or Logan.

Yeah I think the right people could pull it off.. But Just like Singer ruined colossus when put in the right hands it could work.

IMHO, Renner looks like a regular "secret agent", neither ugly nor handsome, just average. He looks like a Fast & Furious guy.

Hawkeye is also supposed to be elegant, not only extremely handsome. Also, I must say that his mask looks very cool.

Im trying to remember if there was any film I've gone to the theater 3 times to see. I think I've only ever gone twice for a film.
