Hopefully Civil War is great and I am rooting for the Batman vs Superman movie...Disney needs to "feel some heat".
I don't agree with all of that (I'm da party pooper who loves Iron Man 3 and Avengers 2) but Thor 2 and Ant-Man were mightily uninteresting to me because of that "cookie cutter" approach and Marvel need to shake things up a bit for sure.

What, popular opinion is that Avengers 2 was not good? I thought it eclipsed the first Avengers in every way, the first Avengers may well be the most overhyped film of the last decade in my mind. I also never understood why everyone was so down against Thor 2, I think it's terrific fun. Iron Man 2 and 3 sure do suck, though.

I agree. Hell, I saw Deadpool 3 times this weekend alone. On the other hand, there are only two X-Men movies that I even went to see in the theater. I waited for the rest to be released on Blu before watching.

Ultron was one of the weakest MCU entries to date for me. I was so excited heading into the movie and left extremely disappointed. It's still not as bad as IM3 and Thor 2, but I have it ranked toward the bottom of the lot.

The only truly awful comic book movies have been the Fantastic Four. I've liked pretty much everything else to various extents, but if we are talking tops, I'd say Netflix is the one crushing it, and by the looks of the DareDevil Season 2 trailer, they are going to continue doing so.

Nope. In fact, there was one family that had a 4, 6, and 7 year olds with them. There was a 5 year old in the theater. And about four rows up from us was another 6 year old. And there were several 9 year olds and a few 11-13 year olds (which isn't as bad if they are mature enough).

Oh yeah, and this was an 8:30PM showing.

wasn't that something that changed from one writer/author to another??
I believe it did change depending on who was writing at the time. Personally I'm glad they left that out. It was always stupid and went over the line in terms of silliness.

I thought it was the worst Marvel film I've seen.

Each show I pre-purchased tickets at my local theater, and they were all assigned seating, BTW.

Enjoyed it and will probably catch it again when it hits the dollar theater. The showing here was sold out and there were a surprising number of kids seeing it. Wouldn't surprise me if they snuck in from the Kung Fu Panda movie at the screening next to it.

There have been other bad ones but Fantastic Four have been topping off that cake for a good long time.

I was just going to post on this. I went Saturday and could not believe there were children in the theater. I would not let my 11 year old see this.

That being said, I really enjoyed the movie, probably my favorite Marvel movie or tied with Iron Man.

This is to comic movies what Fury Road is to action. Is it the greatest comic book movie ever made? OH HELL NO! Is it entertaining as hell? DFEINITELY!! I give it an 8/10. Make sure you stay through the credits.

[Show spoiler]Oh, one thing though that has nothing to do with the movie itself, but WHO THE HELL BRINGS 6 YEAR OLDS TO R RATED MOVIES?! THOSE PARENTS ARE RETARDED ASS MOFOS WHO SHOULD HAVE THEIR PARENTING LICENSE REVOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, my favorite bits were when he asked which Xavier it is and then why there are only 2 characters around an entire mansion. Oh, and best Stan Lee cameo ever!!
Had that same situation at my theater. 11:15am Sunday screening and here's a guy bringing his 7 or 8 year old son and another couple bringing what looked to be two kids around between 7 and 9. Would've loved to have been a fly on the wall in their car on the ride home.

If you can't afford a sitter...

Relating to the box office success, I know that it's not exactly represented by this, but it would be nice if it came down to it in the end...

Hey! That's the villain of TFA... it's him! Incredible. That's the way he is written and portrayed in the movie.

You should probably spoil tag that little bit. Some people who haven't seen the film yet won't appreciate you ruining that little surprise. It's a pretty funny moment.

It doesn't come with a maskless option. However, I could still easily arrange to gently have a
[Show spoiler]mini print-out of Hugh Jackman's face put on
from time to time as my own homemade accessory... Hmmmmmmmmmm...
