Revisited this after seeing it a while back.

Damn, this does not hold up well at all.

It's less actual Deadpool and more Ryan Reynolds making dick jokes 24/7, way too many annoying fourth wall breaks (seriously, the comics did not abuse them like this film does, damn) and just being an unfunny idiot most of the time. Dude made this his Black Adam before Dwayne Johnson did, eh?

(also, if you think "MCU HUMOR IS INSULT TO HUMANITY" and yet think this was great. Congrats, you are an enormous hypocrite)

Revisited this last week and damn this holds up.

You can tell a lot of passion went into this movie. There’s a reason Ryan Reynolds’ take on the character is surviving the Fox/ Disney merger.

Yeah it doesn't hold up as well. Deadpool 2 is far better in every way!

I've seen the film 3 times. First theatrically, then on blu-ray, and finally on UHD. I rated it 8/10 each time so it held up for me.

I didnt hate it but I can see how someone thinks Ryan Reynolds is too much, he is pretty annoying when he wants to be funny

Good to see Reynolds was able to get a film deal and keep going with Deadpool 3 since that short film pitch of Deadpool where he's fighting on the freeway.

Looks like Deadpool himself was 100% CGI in there. Along with the human bad guys in the truck too.
The guy on the motorcycle should've stayed on the motorcycle.

But nice pitch movie work to get the studio to produce the first film.
