He's just being blatantly honest in saying a lot of shit that most adults do think but keep to themselves. THAT is why I think this film looks so amazing. He'll be a completely relatable character in a very unique way. I'm guessing that there will be many people who go to see this film and they will love it, but you wouldn't expect them to do either if you knew them in real life.
I strongly disagree. If it's anything like the comic, it is coming from a place of ignorance and lack of intelligence.

LOL, maybe the movie is set in the nineties or so? That would make sense.

How can you be in a place of ignorance on a fictional character? What does that comment even mean?

If they based the film on the Daniel Way run of Deadpool, I could see that being a concern. But it isn't based on that run, if it was Deadpool would have voices in his head, so I really don't think it's going to be an issue. Most of other Deadpool runs have made the character like a tragic clown, it's hilarious then when things get serious you see why the character is hilarious, it's pretty depressing stuff.

The writing and character is an ignorant immature creation, lacking anything noteworthy beyond cheap laughs fit for equally immature adolescents.

Then why are you interested in the film? You must be interested in the film adaptation to be in it's thread, surely?

I have to say, as many times as I've watched the trailer, I still crack up at this line everytime:

"Ah...right up main street."

Ok, that's nice, but how is he an "ignorant creation" exactly?

Well, the music in the trailers (Salt N Pepa, DMX) is from the 90s, so I think the 90s feel is somewhat intentional. Deadpool was created in the 90s after all, so thats when his origin story would've been written and set, though the film seems to be set in the now (twitter joke). So they're surely shooting at least partially for the 90s nostalgia crowd.

Shame. I really was curious what his answer would be for this. I've never heard such a thing before.

I haven't read the Deadpool comics. Who will be the main villain that Deadpool has to confront in the new movie, or will it be mostly human criminals? The trailer doesn't give much away.

This is also connected to the new timeline so it makes sense that it's set in the 90's since X-Men Apoc takes place in the 80's.
