with this kind of movie. Yes. go look up reviews for comic book movies that last around 106 mins.

reviews mean d!ck to me......i fully expect this movie to get blasted by critics anyway......b/c most of them won't allow themselves to enjoy anything.

This kinda attitude is disgusting. So you have already judged the movie and will like it no matter how s*&%$y it is?
I guess thats how the new Fantastic Four got a few positive reviews.

yet you can judge it and call it sh!tty and lazy based on the run time and a couple of trailers and tv spots??

based on what i've seen, everything about this movie so far has hit the bullseye when it comes to this character.

Reynolds was not what was wrong w/Green Lantern......everything about that movie was terrible.....Reynolds was one of the only bright spots in it. strike 1.

as Wade Wilson in Wolverine, he nailed everything about the character......strike 2.

and if you're referring to RIPD as the 3rd.....i haven't seen that one.

if you're referring to Blade: Trinity.....again, Reynolds was fantastic.

I only made it through around 30 minutes of RIPD. Did he play the same snarky character in that also? I thought he was good in Smokin Aces.

i avoided RIPD b/c it looked bad overall. Reynolds being in it didn't come into the equation for me.

GREEN LANTERN (One of the worst comic book films of all time) (114 mins) = 26%
X Men ORIGINS :Wolverine (unarguably weakest film in the series) (107 mins) = 38%
Blade Trinity (113 mins) = 25%

I dont mind Reynolds in some dramatic and comedy roles (mississippi Grind and especially Woman in Gold were pretty good) but he should stay away from these lazy comic book movies.

I would agree that it doesn't all fall on his shoulders as an actor.......BUT....he has a point. His track record is not great at picking roles. Maybe this is his agent's fault for pushing for these roles. Whatever the case is, I've never been a huge fan of Reynolds because I know his acting isn't that great. He really pushes comedy in stuff when it wasn't needed or didn't fit the role.

But this role fits what Reynolds is totally capable of and that's why everyone is excited.
