Any indication of what Deadpool will open at? I'm thinking a cool $70M.

No way, probably more like $40 mill max, like Kingsmen. I think it'll have competition from Zoolander 2 unlike that film as well, which had the weekend taken by it from Fifty Shades, but both were after two different markets while Zoolander and Deadpool have a bit of crossover, but Deadpool will take the weekend overall.

unless word of mouth is extremely positive that causes people to run out and see it, i would expect this to fall in the $30-$35 million range.

It's the sort of marketing that's getting the internet excited, but I think the larger joke is being lost an major audiences. Granted I'm in the UK so it may be different over there. But considering it out sooner over here, I've seen one trailer in front of The Hateful Eight and it was the edited down version so it looked really tacky.

A couple of my friends are really excited about this movie and I had no idea they even knew who Deadpool was. One of them asked me last night that since he's a Marvel character if he'd be in the MCU and I just replied with a simple "No." She'll find out why when she sees it.

If this turns out to be really good, I don't see why it can't do Kingsman numbers. Kingsman was also rated R and was also released in February and did great because of positive word of mouth.

Kingsman also had great reviews. I dont expect this one to have good reviews with weak filmmakers and cast.

I agree. I do not think that this will do super well in theaters. I think it will have a very niche audience, with poor - fair reviews from critics. I do not think this will do as well as kingsman.
