I count Clone Wars. Felt like a normal Star Wars movie to me, just animated. I watch the movies in in universe chronological order.

The best blu ray for the prequels are the 2019 blu rays, which are the 2011 blu rays with different disc art. The 2020 prequel blu rays have a poor encoding and have added DNR to AOTC (which was already soft).

The best blu ray for the originals are the 2020 blu rays, because they use the new far superior 4k masters.

AOTC didn't get any DNR. TPM was the DNR'd one.

TPM has by far the most amount of DNR of any of the 6 Lucas films, but that has been the case since 2011 when it was released on blu ray. My understanding is that AOTC has a miniscule amount of DNR added on the 2020 release. It's on the list of DNRed 4Ks in this forum. And it does appear to be just a smidgeon softer on the 2020 blu ray.

This is what they have listed. I have no idea what the elements were for harmy.

What I do know is that if 4K80 is as good as 4K77 and 4K83, we are in for a treat.
I have both and they are exceptional, to the point that even if diznee puts out their version of the OTC, I won't buy it.
Those both are exceptional. I expect nothing less from this release.

They weigh in at about 44GB each so one BD50 per would do the trick.
Pretty intensive burn for the computer to chew through, well depending on ones chipset. I would offer, but don't have the horsepower. Sorry.

And the 4K files are about twice that size.

When did George Lucas decide he was going to redeem Darth Vader? Was it during the writing process of Empire or did that idea come about when he started working on Return of the Jedi?

Slave I was the name given to the Kenner toy. The new Lego toy is just called Boba Fett's Starship.

Nothing to see here.

No, Slave I was the name given by Lucas.

And Kenner didn't get to name anything. The licensees get the names (which are trademarked) from Lucasfilm, not the other way around.

But sure, nothing to see here. They went after slave Leia years ago, so one more nonsensical instance of franchise butchery is perfectly fine.

I never said Kenner gave them the name. I'm saying the name was offered to them for the purpose of putting it on a toy box.

Regardless of who gave it the name, it was only ever given to the toy because they wanted to give a name to the toy. Its name was not important in story or in canon and therefore never defined. It still isn't.

Will people tug their forelocks, wail and gnash their teeth if these guys should ever turn up in a new toy line, or even a show/movie, and their names are something other than Prune Face and Walrus Man? Not to mention Yak Face. I'll bet there is EU/Legends and canon material involving those characters with other names already and nobody has complained. In fact I'm also certain there has been.

What do you mean they went after "slave Leia"? She was dressed and treated as a slave. Some would argue that it was a questionable choice for the character and for the movie. And that's always been the case.

"Slave I" as the name for that ship is simply gratuitous. It was probably another "that'll do" choice like "R2-D2", and was inspired in a similar way. Big difference is that the name of Boba's ship has nothing whatsoever to do with the story so does not feature.

The thinking behind giving the toy ship a name was probably due to the perception that it's an adversary of the only named ship* in the saga, The Millennium Falcon. Of course that was only of value on a toy store shelf. It had no value in the movies so it did not feature.

*Yes the Tiderium gets one name drop in its one appearance. But its name is an active part of the story since it needs to be given to the Imperial command ship in order to get past the shield.

No, the purpose was to give the ship a name, which would identify the ship in question anywhere, be it in books, comics and yes, toy boxes and everything else.

Its name was given to the ship and has been important in that regard for 40 years, hence why it was used for that long; from the guy who created the franchise, to all the other artists, creators and licensees that were involved with the IP.

But hey, don't let me stop you from gaslighting the latest instance of Disney destroying what was established in order to pander the easily offended "problematic" crowd, specially with examples that are not comparable to what they're doing.
