Oh, poor you!

Wish you quick recovery!

It's probably only because the are only out on rubbish DVD, so it doesn't really make u wanna watch them.

The Blu-ray release will be your cure!

George Lucas has a tremendous opportunity here to regain a lot of respect that he lost among Star Wars fans. With the Blu-ray set rumkored to be released bnext year on Blu-ray, he really needs to look into reintegrating the deleted/missing scenes back into each film.

There was one particular scene that I felt that should have been added back into Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. The deleted scene is where Anakin and Padme are on Naboo and they are in Padme's bedroom and there are those holographic images all around her bedroom.

I just think that with the Blu-ray format, Lucas really needs to take this opportunity and reintegrate those deleted scenes back into these movies before they are released.

They just did it Memorial Day weekend. Now I have all 6 tucked away on my DVR.

Actually the first three were remastered and digitized by Lowry Digital and probably are what the Blu-rays are going to look like, from the same digital restored masters. I have the James Bond Ultimate and when it came out it talked about a new way to process the movie, etc.. It was Lowry doing the digital processing. Guess what? Just like those DVDs they remastered, the Blu-ray's have the same screen at the end about Lowry Digital with the restoration artists named. I doubt they remastered them twice.

Olivia is the only reason to watch Attack of The Show. Glad Dish finally got it in HD.

Yoda one darkside suggestion. If your going to do this, plan the whole day's worth of food out ahead, with a goal of as little work as possible.

I to am going to watch them all day 1 also. I think I'm just going to throw the biggest bbq this side of Alderaan(darkside humor) the day before and just eat leftovers all day.

Potential menu includes: Texas Whiskey Ribs(a must), carne asada probably to go with scrambled eggs for breakfast in a burrito(note the very little effort) chicken wings(all day) and probably a case of Guinness and some Jack.

Now that's a Star Wars party!!!!!!! It is the will of the force.

Does anybody here remember the revised opening shot from IV that they did in IMAX from the mid 90s? I am sure SOMEONE here must remember this.

Is it online anywhere? I cannot find a vid of it on youtube or anywhere else.

Here is a screenshot from it.

It's from the IMAX movie "Special Effects" and it was specifically shot for that film.

The movie has never been on home video in any format. It showed in IMAX theaters in 1996 and that was that.

PS: I never got to see it. For me, 1996 was "The Year of Hell".

Well, that explains that. Thanks for the reply.

It would be pretty cool if that short bit was included in this upcoming BD set.

Wow. The only person that comes out of that photo with any shred of dignity is the guy in the Clone Trooper costume.

Ah...but take a look at the 501st legion. They are oozing with dignity and coolness to boot.

Could you just imagine Solo running down a Death Star hallway and turning a corner to see this in front of him???
