Ok so aside from all six movies, the trailers and special features from the DVD releases, and a full 1080p presentation, what else in the way of features and extras do you think we can look forward to?


Here is a list of what exactly I would like to see included.


1st ALL features from all of the DVD releases, a massive set that leaves nothing out.

2nd some new documentaries would be nice, preferably some of the older ones produced in the 80's when the films were still new, like that one where Luke does the narration and the little slimy guy makes an appearance and talks, the guy who sits on Jabba's lap the whole time. That documentary would be nice to include with a complete set.

3rd wishful thinking but I would like to see Lucas give in and release a watchable (picture quality wise) copy of the Holiday Special.

4th some deleted scenes from the original trilogy would be nice, preferably some touching up done to make it possible to either re-insert them latter or some sorta seamless branching or other feature.

5th, PiP damn it, no seriously if they do any commentary at all I want PiP for these Blu Ray's, I know it is not always feature people care about but for Star Wars they can not leave any feature not used.

6th I want some BD-Live feature so incredible it forces me (well twists my arm) to run out and upgrade to a 2.0 player.

7th some still galleries that include all the previous posters, home video release covers, concept art, everything they can find.

8th that special from last year or the year before the brittish one "bring back star wars " or whatever it was called the one with Carrey Fisher in it.

That is all I can think of off the top of my head, anyone have their own list of features they'd like to see no matter how unlikely? Also how realistic do you think some of these are or aren't?

The most anticipated special feature that I am hoping for are the 'ISOLATED SCORES' for all the movies, like this upcoming ALIEN BD set is doing.

That MUST happen, as it would be "INCONCEIVABLE!" if they are not included.

I wouldn't mind a nice set of extended editions of Episodes 2 and 3....I mean when the DVD came out for Episode 1, they 1-uped even the VHS release by reinserting some deleted scenes into it, but didn't do anything for 2 and 3. I'm sure there are people in there that would love to watch the birth of the rebellion as part of the actual film.

I've never really watched many of the special features on the DVDs so I'm not too concerned about what's going to be on the blu-rays.

Though, that subplot of the formation of the Rebellion might be nice to have re-inserted.

I've only seen the scenes once, so I don't recall for certain if they are good or not.

The nerds are sworming San Diego as we speak. Wonder how many people will go without showering this weekend. Heard some of those people sleep in there cars and wait in line for hours to hear people talk about there shows or movies AND DON'T BATHE.

I mean I got no problem listening to people talk about there art. But to not shower for days, especially if your wearing a costume is just disgusting. And against Imperial law.
