Bill Hunt is one of the best guys out their reviewing blu-ray discs and the digital bits is a good source for blu-ray and dvd news. Looking forward to his report on the saga blu-ray box set.

Can I inject without sounding too negative? It's Bill Hunt and the Bits are not known for being objective nor even getting reviews right at all (just look into the track record).....having said that I hope that it is much better than than the 2004 DVD set as they have had years to get these right (as far as quality goes). Would love to see Beaver get ahold of these for a review.

I can confirm that there are at least some further tweaks. Don't know what they are outside of probably Episode I digital Yoda.
Hmm ok just what does that mean?

I don't agree with his opinions some of the time. But you're right, he does know what he's talking about in that area.

It means they probably didn't see any footage of E1 Yoda during the presentation. And he's still assuming he's been replaced.

I'm kind of glad to see that TPM Yoda puppet go. For several reasons. I never thought it looked anything like Yoda at all. Plus, he looks older than Yoda when he was at his deathbed in ROTJ.

It is really weird what happened with the E1 puppet. They molded it straight from the original puppet.

I applaud them for trying to keep Yoda as a Puppet for the Prequels. But I'm glad wiser heads prevailed.

Thankfully Frank Oz even recognized it was time to retire the Puppet and go CGI after seeing the digital shots.

Well, at least people on here had time to bi$%h and moan about the lightsabers colors still being off, the errors (Death Star Trench run) still in the master etc..

I, for one, think this is great news, and confirms what I, among some other on here, have been saying all along:

What we saw in the clips were not actual BD snippets....

I can't wait for the first detailed news to come. Monday sounds fantastic, for instance.

Thanks a million for posting.

You can buy it from Amazon.co.uk, whether it arrives before the US set is released is another matter plus there's P&P charges to add to the bill. You'll have to weigh the pros and cons up yourself. You can sign in to the UK site with your US account to check how much it all adds up to.

I'm quite excited about the extra 8%! That's almost like an extra 10% of Star Wars. It will be like watching the movies for the first time again.

Looks like this thread will Really EXPLODE tomorrow when Bill Hunt/Digital Bits, & the guys at AV Forums, post more info (reviews?) on the set, huh? Maybe, just MAYBE, we'll get some Video of the sets as well...

Yeah, I can't wait. It will be a day long remembered. It will see the the end of speculation, and hopefully the end of arguing.
