If the nooooo! scream didn't sound so horrible in Sith it wouldn't be that much of an issue. For me anyway. It totally ruins the end of sith, especially the pose but its mostly the way its done. If it was perhaps deeper sounding or something it wouldn't have come off so bad.

The fact they use what appears to be a similar scream at the end of jedi sucks. I was actually hoping he was gonna re-record the scream from sith and change the pose but he probably likes it.

i'm actually haven't said a word against andy serkis, i'm sure he is awesome-

this has nothing to do about how nice he is, and i haven't said a negative word about him-

this is about taking jobs away from those who have earned it-

i guess you would be ok with paris hilton taking over your job and you getting laid off then just because she is a celebrity.

and ps- where did i say anything off color that would necessitate the need for me to grow up??

Here is a bit of an interview with Spielberg regarding revisionism and it sums up my own thoughts.

Steven Spielberg: George goes his own way and I respect him for it, but my new philosophy about this is to let sleeping dogs lie.

Quint: That’s great news for film geeks. Anybody who appreciates film, that's like music to their ears.

Steven Spielberg: When people ask me which E.T. they should look at, I always tell them to look at the original 1982 E.T. If you notice, when we did put out E.T. we put out two E.T.s. We put out the digitally enhanced version with the additional scenes and for no extra money, in the same package, we put out the original ‘82 version. I always tell people to go back to the ’82 version.

Quint: Having the option is the big deal for me. Using the Star Wars example, I don’t think there’d be an outcry if we could watch a nice transfer of the original versions. We’d be like, “George can do what he wants and I’ll watch it… but you know maybe the fans would like the option of watching the movie they fell in love with, too.”

Steven Spielberg: Yeah. And I think the other good thing is that they understand when they see a movie and they suddenly see something that could have been done much better today and could have been corrected in the DVD/Blu-Ray transfer, they really appreciate seeing the strings attached. If somebody put out George Pal’s War of the Worlds and took the strings off the machines I’d be very upset. When that machine crashes in downtown Hollywood, and you see the strings going from taut to slack, that’s the thing that allows me to both understand this movie is scaring the hell out of me and at the same time this movie is a creation of the human race. That little taut-to-slack moment of those wires on that wingtip makes the original George Pal War of the Worlds work for me. It embraces my fears and it also alleviates them in the same breath.

I guess when the complaining about one franchise and it's creator dries up, turn to the next best thing. LOTR and Peter Jackson.

For a couple of franchises and people that I see nothing but complaints about, you guys sure obsess over it.

I'm sure there will be a tie-in novel and comic to tell us all about it for just $5 more.

Sebulba or another Dug? I'm on pins and needles.

Jesus Christ. Dude has lost his flipping mind.

So why didn't any of the advance showing to people in the media bring up any changes? And why is it just Return of the Jedi? Sure there's little changes in ANH and TESB, but a majority of these changes (Ewok eyes, Vader no!) are from RotJ. Something's not right here. I mean there's additions like Sebulba, and camera changes to Jedi, but nothing to the other two.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe I missed something in the thread)

i highly doubt they said ok, we need to make xx number of changes to ANH, and to be fair lets do the same to empire and return.

the changes are so lame to begin with, seems illogical to think there is any logic in them.

Well the jedi changes might be the most jarring changes or the most recognizable.

As for the press previews... From what i've read they had Empire playing but the press pretty much admitted in every article i read (i read several for some reason..lol) that they pretty much ignored empire and went straight for the special features and mainly watched those and maybe glanced at emprie.

The website is a load of crap anyway. Apperantly the writer of the article believes Vader is the one torturing Luke.

"Taking one of the most frequently meme’d moments in the entire garbage prequel trilogy, Lucas has now added two cries of “NO!” from Darth Vader as he tortures Luke, thus bringing the franchise full circle around and invariably linking Return of the Jedi with Revenge of the Sith in one more ****** way forever."

How do you know Andy hasn't earned this? You have ZERO place to make that call. You haven't even seen it yet, your complaint is beyond sad. You are basing this on some made up sob story about how some John Doe got "laid off" so Andy could work. So so stupid.

You are correct. I've been wondering since the leaks began appearing why only ROTJ was heavily affected. It's as if every little detail has to be altered in one way or another. I'm expecting the Emperor to fly in the air and fight Luke like in the Super ROTJ for the SNES!

yes, you are right, i am so stupid, who gives a crap, has to turn out better then the generic second unit fighting that comprised the black gates scene in ROTK-

I'm too lazy to dig out the articles but didn't one of them say the participants agreed not to disclose any of the various 'surprises'?
