EDIT: Wait, my bad, excitement.

Blame it on Frogmort, if he wasn't slacking so much we'd have it cleared out before dawn.

Then again, the secretary's chair isn't going to sniff itself.

Imagine if it could though. That would be wild.

Legitimately laughing my ass off, trying to stifle it, at my desk.

Thank you sir.

In that scene (to *me* anyway) it seemed like they were doing a parody of their lines in AOTC, goofing with cornball lines. Padme/Portman is practically laughing all the way through. They aren't serious at all.

I was joking. But if we are talking about ATOC, I agree with you 100%.

However, I do believe Hayden's overall acting in ROTS is better than Mark's overall acting in ROTJ. You might not agree with that assessment, but I think it is definitely a debatable one.

Come on, according to everyone the prequels suck and nothing good can be found in them, as such Carrie Fisher is clearly the sexiest woman in the history of the world since the originals are a gift from God

Nathalie Portman in prequels = ugliest woman in history

The Star Wars Blu-ray thread. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

Interesting point. I'll have to consider that when watching it again.

Agreed. Mark Hamil is interesting. I think he was pretty good as Luke in TESB and ROTJ. Far less talented in ANH. In everything else I've seen him in is far more like the stuff he did for the Wing Commander games and he's absolutely horrible though. :shudder:

He does pretty damned good Joker / voice work, though.

Do you honestly sniff the secretary's chair?

I can understand touching the warm spot she leaves, but sniffing it is just downright creepy, dude.

I like the star wars saga on blu-ray I like the whole box set picture (episode 1 cause of the DNR is ok but not great on blu-ray) , sound , extras , deleted scenes , everything. I just like it that we have all 6 films on a format that we can all enjoy. Sure some will not be happy with the new color timing of the OT and the UOT are not on blu-ray that goes without saying.

Well... not to me, I guess. "Don't make me killll you". LAAAAWL! Especially when Ewan is giving you gold on the other side of the sound stage. Ewan finally puts on a great performance in Sith and Hayden still doles out the frigid delivery. Ewan's stuff, when he says "You were supposed to bring balance to the Force, not banish it to darkness! You were like a brother to me!" that was actually pretty damn good in this viewing. I was like, preach it Ewan! Then Hayden replies like he's trying to record for a new Microsoft Text-To-Speech program. DON'T MAKE... ME KILL YOU... GOOD MORNING, DAVE...

I think he was OK in Sith, it didn't just drag all of his scenes down like in AOTC, but he still has a long way to go to reach even the worse parts of Hamill's performance in the OT. Hamill is capable of exhibiting emotions with his face, like the first time he looks off to the Tatooine sunset and the music swells. He's not DeNiro or anything, but he is a legitimate actor who looks like he's done real stage acting. Hayden looks like he auditioned for a L'Oreal For Men commercial and didn't make the cut.

Whoa, let's not get ridiculous.

No one in their right mind is claiming Carrie Fischer is anywhere nearly as good looking as Natalie Portman is. She's not even as good looking as Harrison Ford, and you know for a fact this is coming from the straightest man on Earth. If Harrison Ford had been wearing that bikini instead, Jabba wouldn't have gotten any work done. Fact.

I get a little gay every time Harrison is on screen in ESB.

Anyway if I could scoop Natalie Portman up in my Delorean, fire it up to 88 and head back to 1980 I would gladly throw both her and Carrie into the mix, if you get my drift. Wink wink, nudge nudge!

You do realise that she was not even born in 1980, creepy much

In that particular line I honestly think that Hayden was trying to channel a James Earl Jones-like performance (I suspect under Lucas' direction) to try and make him sound like an imposing, suitless Vader.

It didn't really work out, and I think he should've put some actual emotion into it instead of saying it like a robot would. I blame Lucas, not Hayden, for that one.

Now that "Harrison Ford Bikini" appears back to back to back in one post Frogmort will be back in this thread as soon as he does his nightly search for his favorite keywords. He will be so disappointed with the result.

Don't think I'm not onto you Frogmort.
