Yep, I've noticed that too. There are a few missing or altered alien translation subtitles. More changes = pain in the ass.

Default Star Wars - explained for haters

As you can clearly see here Obi Wan only get's trapped by the ramp and not hurt by it. I rest my case!

I'm not missing any subtitles. Perhaps you need to update the firmware on your player.

And as you can clearly see here the horizontal part of the ramp digs right into Obi-Wan's hipbone. Hard enough to push him over the ground a foot or two..

^ As you can see there, some of the visual effects in these films are not all that good.

That always looked terrible on DVD and it still looks terrible on Blu. Bleh.

What the hell happened to Obi's head when Dooku throws him though? It's completely squashed! I still think Obi-Wan wasn't walking away from the gantry thingy pushing him along the floor, he would have been badly injured.

What's the big deal!
Probe droids were sent out to search for the Rebels. One landed on Hoth, took pictures of the shield generator, then sent the info to the Empire. It holds up because you see it happen.

Darth Maul traces the Queen to Tatooine somehow. We know this because of dialogue between him and The Emperor.

It looks like it just kind of scoots his hip and pushes him back. Obviously, its going to hurt and he might hobble for a bit, but it's not life threatening.

That's because it has to be absolutely clear to the audience that he is stuck. Because of the shape of the ramp it is also clear though that it couldn't break his legs...

It doesn't need to break his legs when it crushes his hip bone. You can see how it digs into his hip. With that kind of weight the lack of a few centimeters of spare room is enough to do serious damage. That the ramp was missing these few centimeters is pretty clear as well, otherwise the ramp wouldn't have had enough grip to push him. Don't try to explain away a clear mistake. It's fine to roll with it, suspension of disbelief and everything, but denying it when it's ther for everybody to see doesn't help.

I'm waiting for the Super-Deluxe Full-Tilt Mostest Completest Ever Set... which will include every single version ever filmed, released, re-released, updated, Special Edition or 3-D'd. Only then can George have another DIME!

Do you have the subtitle for the Gran ( the three eyed alien ) in Episode 2 then? When he say's " The debate is over we need that clone army now" then? I'm playing on PS3 and a Panasonic PD 1500.

Nor did I watch it with "anger" simply because I noticed these plot holes.

I have a PS3 as well. I'd have to check when I'm home later today.

What does that thing look like it weighs?

I'm beginning to think you guys have no concept of physics.

"Oh, it's just a metal sidewalk, it can't weigh but 3 or 4 tons... yeah I mean as long as it only hits you in the hip and sort of scoots you a couple feet, you'll be walkin' away from that, yes sirree..."

Please allow something that weighs several hundred pounds at the very least to fall and "rest gently" on your legs, merely "scooting you a couple feet" and tell me how that turns out for ya.
