All the news on the star wars saga blu-ray box set over the last 2 weeks has been great so far. Can't wait to see the final product coming out on September 16th. And if I say the same things over again I'm sorry. I'm just so super excited for the star wars saga on blu-ray.

maybe this has been covered but i was in best buy and if you preorder with $5 down you get a film cell or something. any1 seen this yet. i couldnt quite tell what it was.

Yeah I'm super excited too but DHL will only deliver it too me on the 19th because they don't work on Sundays. The Star Wars: The Complete Saga Blu-ray will be travelling 10,000 miles to reach me.

As for the films, I haven't watched one straight thru in Years, so many parts of them will "somewhat" be akin to watching em' for the 1st time.

Wow!! That's amazing! He has his own figure complete with the ice maker! I saw Empire countless times, but I guess I was really too focused to the story each time lol! So glad I'm in this forum with you guys, you'll learn new thing every day (if you can get through all the bickerings). I'm sure we'll notice a lot more on the blu-rays, both picture and sound, can't wait!

Why is the set coming out on Fri the 16th? Aren't most DVD releases on Tuesdays in the USA???

It's a few frames of the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan battle from Episode III.

Unfortunately, all the strips were produced for this giveaway, and are identical. Unlike the Phantom Menace VHS set, where the film strip came from an actual theatrical print, so there would have been around 37 000 unique strips.

I believe someone on this site said that it's because Friday releases get placed in the Sunday ad the week of and after

They do that sometimes. How To Train Your Dragon was released on a Friday too.

I prefer Tuesday actually, when it usually reaches me on Thursday just in time for the weekend. To look on it from a positive side, it could be released the next Tuesday, September 20th. Can you wait 4 more days? I can't!

PS: This thread been working out, it's getting thinner. We need to put it into a more healthy diet. No more junk food please.

Perhaps in that particular scene, adding the CGI background would prove to be more distracting? I don't know, but it doesn't bother me. As someone said, maybe it's really just some other location.
