Is Darth Vader's new "Noo...NOOOooo!" a joke?

I've listened to it a few times now, and each time I laugh even more.

Also, if those screencaps are from the bluray, well it looks like they only fixed the sabers when they clash in front of the emperor, in other shots it's magneta & green in the core.

If true, the incoming forum rage will be GodLike!

Did you really need to quote about a dozen images just to ask that question ?

Just listened to the Vader mp3 clip...it sounds a lot like Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet in Spaceballs! I sincerely hope it's not real because that is just seriously bad misjudgment to put it in.

Oh, and those "3 steps of quality control?" maybe they meant steps backwards

I did edit it a bit though.

Seriously, I am laughing my @$$ off over here. I mean, wow, Vader now says: "NOOOO!" at the end of Jedi? It is like Lucas watched Revenge of the Sith and was looking for the most laughably bad moment in the whole film and thought: "I think that would work nicely at the end of Jedi....but I intended to have Vader say "NOOOOO!" in Jedi from the very beginning...yes...yes I did!" Wow.

Wicket blinks now too? Betcha none of the other Ewoks do, because that is Lucas Quality control right there. LOL, I love it. Cannot wait to get these and laugh away 65 bucks...lol.

Anyone know if he put Horns on Jar Jar? LOL

He was thinking he could do whatever he wants.

Imagine how the employees over there feel after he orders another change?

I'm sure it's hilarious by now for them.

Still, I'm in lock step to buy these on the 16th. These will be my final purchases of the Saga.

I'm going to enjoy these damn things...off the wall audio and all!

Wow, this new vader audio and the krayt dragon audio have got to be a joke and in real bad taste too. Did he misplace these and instead of putting them on the parody bonus disc, put them in the original trilogy by mistake!? These are awful. The krayt dragon one really does sound like a guy being kicked in the balls. What was George thinking when he gave these two the goahead!?

I just heard the audio. Please please please tell me this is a joke! First of all, wouldn't Vader screaming "NOOOO!" kinda tip off the Emperor that he's about to turn on him? Secondly, aside from being revisionist stupidity at its worst, what I always loved about that scene is that Vader's internal thought process is conveyed without a single word and without you even seeing his face or his eyes. Seriously, Prowse(or the stuntman if that's who was in the suit) manages to pull it off with just a few head movements.

If this is an elaborate joke, it's the greatest of all-time. Seriously!

But, it's probably not. The reviews from the critics and forum members on this set is going to be completely, 100% epic.

Can you resolve something for us all? Is the Vader saying and screaming "NO" really in Return of the Jedi; or is it a joke?

Just listened to the sound clip

Vader's first "no" -- I swear I thought he burped, like he was mouthing "no" as a giant Beef Meximelt gas pocket left his mouth.

The other "noooo" sounds like an unused take from Revenge of the Sith, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it turns out to be.

Everyone back in '04 was thinking the Hayden image from RotJ was a joke too. Unfortunately...

If any of this is true, why are most of us truly surprised? There's been so many wierd changes to Star Wars since '97, and what with all the continuity errors existing now between the two trilogies and The Clone Wars, it's actually turned into... well, a galactic joke. Don't get me wrong, they're all still very entertaining pieces, but so SO flawed. Sad thing is that it wasn't always so, and didn't have to be.

May the Force Be With Us.

You know, I take back what I said. I actually might not get this now.

Listening to the clips again, why do it at all?

I've been pretty much okay with everything Lucas has changed but the new audio from Vader...I might be use to it but damn, it's just not really good.
