Don't think we're ever going to be able to top this:
From the moment I met you, all those years ago, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought of you. And now that I'm with you again... I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worse it gets. The thought of not being with you- I can't breathe. I'm haunted by the kiss that you should never have given me. My heart is beating... hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul, tormenting me... What can I do? I will do anything you ask. If you are suffering as much as I am, please, tell me.

Maybe we should be glad that he only added "No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Ugh, this is the last straw. I'm going to MovieStop tomorrow and cancelling my reservation on this set. Sucks because I was looking forward to the midnight party. :/

I bet if George EVER "restores" the OUT, he's going to fill it with DNR and edge-enhancement.

No, that was more a rant. If Lucas gave people the option to watch whatever version of Star Wars they wished (Original, '97, '04) then there would be zero issues. But the fact that we get given on a plate these changes and have no option, its a little understandable that fans are mythed.

After watching that Vader RotJ clip several times...I'm starting to ACCEPT it a bit more. Mostly because it does kind of sync in, especially when the music starts rolling after the second "Noo!"

Since we've heard the new Obi-Wan call forever ago, I already knew about it. It barely bothers me, whether it sounds like a Krayt dragon or not. Think about it: If you heard that scream, wouldn't you be scared and run for your life as well?

Another reason I found Greedo shooting and missing to be sound: Greedo sounds very cocky during the whole scene, does he not? Perhaps his cocky attitude did the best of him and made him miss...even if it's point blank range... Maybe Han kicked his foot?

At least it's SOMETHING. I'm going to try to enjoy this release to the best of my ability. But one thing's for sure...the pink sabers have absolutely no excuse to be in this release, at all.

That "Nooooooooo" is exactly the same "No" said by Vader at the end of Episode III.

Shipping from Amazon is always YMMV, but they typically ship a few days in advance for arrival on release date. At least for Prime shipping. Standard shipping is more of a roll of the dice.

So what's the over/under on when the Lucas brigade decides this doesn't just 'kinda work' but is actually the best change in the history of ever?

I'm thinking tenish? Midnight at the latest?

[Show spoiler]all times US Central but give or take an hour because I can never remember which is central standard and which is central daylight

The Star Wars Prequels are missing a laugh track too.

Unless the reviews are really bad regarding the picture and audio quality, I'll leave the order open. I'm getting the 9-disc set for 65 bucks and change(plus a few bucks back from eBates) from Deep Discount. That's a pretty decent deal.

They already have but are afraid of being torn to pieces by the haters. It will need to be slowly eased in like Jumpman is doing. He has broken rank first and gone from I'm not buying to I think it works and I'm getting it again
