Lucasfilm's damage control should be out quite quickly on this one, as this does have the ability to negatively impact sales now (reaching much bigger audiences now, those who would have NO idea purchasing blindly, well, they now know). If it makes it to CNN, then they have a big problem. Especially if the footage is fake.

People posting on blu ray or Star Wars forums? No Problem! Yahoo and Dark Horizons?!? That is an entirely different ballgame. Not to mention the many that will post links to those two articles via social networking sites. Yeah, your friends who didn't care or know before, now they KNOW something is wrong. Consumers, who know something is broken or tampered with, don't buy. Don't under estimate the power of social networking and the bigger sites. Some may not care about the change, but others may. Regardless, they cannot stay quiet on this for much longer as the articles being written are being done in a negative tone (for the most part).
+1. Egypt was able to organize riots via social networking.

**I am not endorsing or encouraging anyone to riot. I'm only showing how powerful social networking can be** End Disclaimer.

The first "No" sounds more awkward than the second "No." It sort of reminds me of a Keanu Reeves calm and passive "No" before he stops the bullets at the climax of The Matrix.

But the second "No" is more physically unnatural than the first "No".

If you use all your strength to pick up someone, the "No" should sound more strained, sort of as if you are taking a really big crap. The next time you drop a load, try to scream "No" at the same time and it won't sound like an emotional "No" scream as Vader picks up Palpatine. It shoulds sound more like a strained "No" scream.

There's no need to call people idiots, children, and retarded. And to be rude.

It's fine to have a spirited disscussion and debate things like adults. It's okay to disagree. That's uncalled for.

The first "No" in the ROTJ clip sounds like an altered sample of "No, I...am your father." The second No is definitely a sample from ROTS.

I still think Obi's "nooo" from TPM was very believable and not cheesy ... the rest are borderline though ESB had an emotional kick too. With that in mind, I am now looking forward to mostly TPM in terms of good additions and presentation ... the OT has pretty much been butchered.

The first nooo seems to me like it's Vader saying it to himself as for the other nooo i think that is FAKED cause it sounds like the nooo from ROTS,and why would Lucas muffle the voice of the emperor in that scene it makes no sense.

For real, dude. What yahoo article shows the Vader Nooo or the Obi Wan call? I'm not talking about the fixes. Nobody has shown any evidence that these changes are real. Nobody has a credible link other than, 'a trusted source'. Show me the proof that used to be required for journalism with integrity and I'll recant every word that I've said. Some downloaded torrent originating in China is not proof. The proof is a source any source right now here today.

They compared the "Noooo" from the one in RotS. It's different.

It could certainly be an alternate take. But it's not the same one as used in RotS.

Hey Space2099 and P@t_Mtl,

I know these upcoming blu-rays may be frustrating and causing fans tension amongst each other, but remember, keep calm and cool in here - Star Wars fans have possibly already become equal and less cool than Star Trek fans. We can't let the Trekkies seem cooler now, especially after all those years of a reputation of Star Wars fans being less nerdy/geeky than Star Trek fans!

The clip that has been posted online is not the actual clip from the Blu-Ray.

Someone took the MP3 of the recording from the Blu and synched it up with the previous DVD.

Those who have actually downloaded the rips have said it's much more natural than the "Sample" posted.

Bad example. Lucas did not (and will not) delete the UOT versions of the DVD found in many homes across America. He just doesn't plan to release these on blu-ray. Comparing that to the book burnings is pretty extreme.

They are his movies.

That's what I was thinking. An alternate take of the line as recorded for ROTS.

I think some (maybe most) would realize this movie was made in the 1970's.
