The biggest question about the release now... will people be able to maintain their rage until release date?

To follow up more with why a more "strained Nooooo!" (such as trying to say "no" when taking a crap or bench pressing) would be better, this second "no" also gives the impression that Palpatine is not that heavy. The way this "no" is expressed makes Palpatine as weightless as the rest of his other cartoon cut-out CGI characters in the prequels. When Vader didn't say "No", we sense that Vader used his last remaining energy to pick up Palpatine, but the "no" throws it all off now physically, besides the fact that it also makes it cheesy and takes away the original emotional punch of him not saying anything until his helmet is removed.

First, thanks for making this thread the responsible for me not doing my work at my job...

Second, type "51 pounds into usd" into Google to convert pounds into US dollars (because, seriously, you've red almost 1200 pages in this forum but you don't have 30 seconds to type that in Google?).

Third...PATIENCE. Yes, just a couple of days closer to the REAL release of this blu-rays.

I do have to admit that the "overwhelming" flooding of these screenshots and sounds is making me believe those rips (illegal, btw), are the 'real thing'.

I still have my DD pre-order, because, after all, the PT should sounds and look AMAZING.

Actually, he is most likely correct. The absolute correct thing to do would be for Lucas and company to come out, right now, and confirm or deny this. Wow, what a simple thing? Seriously, simply put out a statement regarding the vailidity of the two audio changes. Look at the way Lord of the Rings was handled by the studio with the green tint slathered on the first movie in the recent EE's. If I'm not mistaken, nothing was officially said until the release date or just there abouts.....how conveniant?

You realize that Vader has enhanced Strength thanks to his cybernetic limbs, right?

Such as how he can effortlessly choke Captain Antilles in ANH with one hand while lifting him off the ground. And then toss him like a rag doll.

The systems of his suit and his cybernetic limbs weren't damaged until AFTER the lightning from Palpatine. All he'd lost before that is one hand.

So part of your little conspiracy theory is that someone got a hold of special features disc, a 1080p copy of the movie superior to the HD broadcast and then added this in as a joke along with a bunch of other changes including new CGI in the Han scene, the corrected arm in the Wampa scene and an Ewok blinking then leaked it through a Chinese torrent uploader who often leaks rips of legit retail discs? And all this was done a few weeks before the actual release to be funny?

What article on yahoo? The very same one I linked in my post that you commented on (here it is again for you): http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/31082011/...rs-fans-0.html

While they don't post the vids, they tell you where to find them and what the changes are (in a not so flattering manner). See, when reporting ANYTHING, like I dunno, say FOX news does, one doesn't need to qoute or show proof to damage something. The point I am trying to make, is the longer Lucasfilm stays silent, the more damage this can do, ESPECIALLY if it is a hoax and starts to get widly reported. Think: "Obama wasn't born in America."

Today's journalism is not like that of yesteryear. While you may have standards, most of the journalists in the world don't. They report editorials like fact (like some on this site..lol). You can say (as I am): "I won't believe it until I see it." but most aren't like us anymore. "This article says this, and its on all these other sites, it must be true. Not going to buy the set or going to cancel my preorder." This is why Lucas shouldn't be mum and should say SOMETHING.

Quite simple.

Well we have yet to see this audio clip attached to any 1080p video. the actual scene was never leaked. just allegedly an mp3 of the audio, which was put under the DVD version of the film, which is what you see in the clips.

But what you are saying would negate anything that LFL would come out and say because the idiots have taken over any sort of sanity that used to rule. It seems we're both saying the exact same thing only in different ways. We both seem to agree that nobody is checking any sources and you feel that LFL needs to squash these reports, am I right here? But what will win in the end, what is on the actual blu rays or the false reports? The truth will always win with me and I just don't see a need for LFL to say anything and I really don't care about the people that believe every wikipedia article or post that they read. Maybe LFL should say something, but I don't see it happening because then they're giving in to every person that posts something. LFL pretty much ignores everyone. I'm getting the set no matter what, so...

The guy in the article even says, 'if true'. He doesn't even know if the video is even real. Look at the articles that yahoo posts everyday, it's utter garbage.

Here are some of the great articles from yahoo today;

Fans have a right to their say and the discussions are directly related to the Blu-ray release. As long as no insults, profanity or trolling goes on...

What in the world are you talking about? I don't want ANYTHING explained to me, and i'm pretty sure most others don't either. I just want Lucas to stop ruining these damn films! You are the one who has a B.S. explaination or an excuse whenever anyone posts a complaint about the insane decisions Lucas makes. If you recognize that these are "only movies," why is that?

You seem to have the same "foaming at the mouth" reaction to when anyone complains about the changes or how fundamentally bad the PT films are, rather than the changes themselves or the inherent flaws in the PT films themselves. Yes, i get that film tastes are subjective. Like what you like, and I'll like what i like, but your excuses for the insanity that is George Lucas are just utterly delusional. It's apologist behavior to the most extreme.
