Celebrity berating of George Lucas:

Famous Star Wars fan Simon Pegg has been tweeting all day about the changes. He's particularly angry about the change to Vader's redemption saying "Always loved Vader's wordless self sacrifice. Another ****ty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin's ghost. What a ****ing shame."

Pegg went on to berate George Lucas for his frequent altering of the loved films: "I wonder if George Lucas will ever replace himself with CGI. He should do. He's a muppet."
Nice!!!

Has anyone seen this movie yet? I think it is out for limited release...

The funny thing is I felt like these people were all FREAKS and I just realized I should have been interviewed myself.

I've worked out the R2D2 magic rock scene. he's made out out of his little projector! It's a defence mechanism like pissing oil on droids. It doesn't explain why the bit of rock isn't there witht the Obi scream though....

Heh. There goes my respect levels for Simon Pegg. It's fine to not like the change.

The personal attacks at the man over it is downright sad and pathetic.

Handy, it's likely that no official reviews will be out before the set is released. If you are so convinced that these are fake then stop posting the same thing every 3 minutes and wait till then. As for the rest of us, it's blatantly obvious based on a number of things including the quality of the rip, the changes that were made and the track record of the guy(s) who leaked them. Believe me, most of us want these things to be fake but there is simply nothing to indicate that it's some weird work in progress or elaborate joke. Adywan is going over these things with a microscope and he would be the first to announce any indication that this isn't real. Lucasfilm isn't going to release a statement today that says "we have downloaded and reviewed the illegal rip of these releases and can confirm the validity of it however don't forget that there are 40 hours of special features specially prepared for the fans." Again, if you are so convinced, then don't worry about. You'll be happy in a few weeks and rest of us will look like idiots for believing it. I'll talk to you on the 16th.

Why is it the truth? Technically, it's an opinion.

Oh I see,
Because there's a huge gulf between telling someone their beliefs are stupid and saying they are stupid. Views are these external components that have no bearing on the actual person you see.

and then you went on to say "I haven't liked him since he became simon peggs biggest fan" - or something.

We are through the looking glass here now. People attacking people for attacking people for attacking people that attack people.

If you want the higher ground, just say you disagree. You don't need to call people OR THEIR VEIWS - names. You can. But you lose your high ground when you do.

This goes to the chap who was calling Beasts views delusional as well.

But seriously it's like shouting "COKE IS SUGARY CRAP, I PREFER MOUNTAIN DEW".
