Polish edition of Star Wars also doesn't have English DTS-HD MA 6.1 track, but there is dubbed German DTS-HD MA 5.1.

Thank you very much LucasFilm, FOX or whoever responsible for this #%$#^%

That Episode I screencap of Yoda and Windu is *****in'. The quality of the transfer is ridiculous.

Default Bonus Disc Three Contents: The Documentaries

Here's the final contents of Disc Three. This one is quir well known though. Maybe Beard Esquire can paste them into the 1st page for everyone?

[Show spoiler]
Quote:
THE MAKING OF STAR WARS (1977, Colour, Apx: 49 Minutes)

Learn the incredible behind-the-scenes story of how the original Star Wars movie was brought to the big screen in this fascinating documentary hosted by C-3PO and R2-D2. Includes interviews with George Lucas and appearances by Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: SPFX (1980, Colour, Apx: 48 Minutes)

Learn the secrets of making movies in a galaxy far, far away. Hosted by Mark Hamill, this revealing documentary offers behind-the-scenes glimpses into the amazing special effects that transformed George Lucas’ vision for Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back into reality.

CLASSIC CREATURES: RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983, Colour, Apx: 48 Minutes)

Go behind the scenes--and into the costumes--as production footage from Return of the Jedi is interspersed with vintage monster movie clips in this in-depth exploration of the painstaking techniques utilised by George Lucas to create the classic creatures and characters seen in the film. Hosted and narrated by Carrie Fisher and Billie Dee Williams.

ANATOMY OF A DEWBACK (1997, Colour, Apx: 26 Minutes)

See how some of the special effects in Star Wars became even more special two decades later. George Lucas explains and demonstrates how his team transformed the original dewback creatures from immovable rubber puppets (in the original 1977 release) to seemingly living, breathing creatures for the Star Wars 1997 Special Edition update.

STAR WARRIORS (2007, Colour, Apx: 84 Minutes)

Some Star Wars fans want to collect action figures... these fans want to be action figures. A tribute to the 501st Legion, a global organisation of Star Wars costume enthusiasts, this insightful documentary shows how the super-fan club promotes interest in the films through charity and volunteer work at fundraisers and high-profile special events around the world.

STAR WARS TECH (2007, Colour, Apx: 46 Minutes)

Exploring the technical aspects of Star Wars vehicles, weapons and gadgetry, Star Wars Tech consults leading scientists in the fields of physics, prosthetics, lasers, engineering and astronomy to examine the plausibility of Star Wars technology based on science as we know it today.

A CONVERSATION WITH THE MASTERS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 30 YEARS LATER (2010, Colour, Apx: 25 Minutes)

George Lucas, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan and John Williams look back on the making of The Empire Strikes Back in this in-depth retrospective from Lucasfilm created to help commemorate the 30th anniversary of the movie.

STAR WARS SPOOFS (2011, Colour, Apx: 91 Minutes)--The farce is strong with this one. Enjoy a hilarious collection of Star Wars spoofs and parodies that have been created over the years, including outrageous clips from Family Guy, The Simpsons, How I Met Your Mother and more. And don’t miss “Weird Al” Yankovic’s one-of-a-kind music video tribute to The Phantom Menace.

In the actual book of the TPM (from what I can remember), Shmi was taken by the Sandpeople. Cliegg Lar's and a group of men go out to try and "save" Shmi. About 30 left and only 4 returned, leaving Lar's in a hover chair with some lost or maimed legs. It is a shame that this scene wasn't in AOTC...

I'm not sure you even know what a plot hole is...
Here I'll make it easy on you.

It was Starkiller when he first wrote ANH.

I said he changed it during the OT, not before the movie came out.

4-5-6 was about Luke.

Here I'll make it even easier for you http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Plot+holes

We hope that this issue is presented only in the "original" (If Lucas keeps changing things, nothing will be left from the movies releases from 1977 to 1983) trilogy or in all 6 movies. Anyway, this is totally unacceptable and we don´t get why LucaFilm and Fox are stealing us the DTS HD audio track for the English version but they do included and HD track... for the German track!
I mean, what we are getting is a lossy DTS track for the English (the most important audio track in the set, as it is the original language of the film) and Spanish track (6.1 EX for English and 5.1 for Spanish) and a DTS HD for the German track.

Do you believe that? Can you possible imagine the reaction of the fans if Fox release these movies (or whatever movies) in the US with a lossy track???

So does anyone have any e-mail address of LucasFilm? I´ve chacked their website but I didn´t find any link and I would like to write them about this issue.

Thanks so much for your help.
Your best bet is to get the street address and direct it to George Lucas personally. I'm sure they have some way of getting it to him or one of his mindless minions that probaly read his mail anyway before burdening him with it.

Three words. Hack edit job. Something is written one minute and then can we put Yoda here instead? Nooooo that's fine, let's continue the story and not flesh out a character but include them in a battle. Yoda is now at the front lines for a wookie battle yeahh!!

Now Anakin has no interaction with Yoda so Yoda only senses something is wrong. He can't do anything once he is back, and nobody cares why the senate is debating because all they talk about it is peace treaties. The princess doesn't talk to anyone about Anakin in her family so we sub in Jar Jar because we like to talk about him.

Skip some more cut scenes with Obi-Wan Kenobi as he does some fighting of siths like in Episode 1 and sub in some more cut scenes and what we have left is dialogue looking for any means to just get the princess to freak out, and that works. e.t.c, e.t.c..

Its the same Edition of as in Spain/Germany.
Fox did this Edition for multiple Countries. Look at subtitle and audio options. All these will have the same BDs.

It's from all Star Wars BD Sets the only one whoe doesn't have Original HD Audio.
And German is the only dubbing worldwide that get the HD Treatment.

Pickup shots of fat Ewan are sprinkled throughout the movie. When he ducks Jar Jar's ear right before they head to Gunga City, that was a pickup. You can tell because his hair goes from wet to dry in about a second(must be that Force hairdrying ability). One of the most obvious ones is when he and Qui-Gon are talking right after the entourage returns to Naboo before the battle. I guess Lucas added that scene in order to show they were still getting along given their bickering on Coruscant. The problem is Ewan looks really pasty and chubby in that scene.

That's one of my biggest complaints about the prequels. Maybe it's nitpicking, but I think it's crazy how key scenes were seemingly added as afterthoughts a year after principal photography ended. Yoda granting Obi-Wan permission to train Anakin at the end of TPM. Dooku's conversation with Obi-Wan after he's captured in Episode II. Obi-Wan picking up Anakin's lightsaber after he defeats him in Episode III. It never occurred to Lucas to add these til after he viewed the rough cuts?

For some people like me, the story comes first and then the picture quality.
And by this I obviously mean Vader's "Noo!" that changed that most important scene in the Original Trilogy for me.

That's not in the Phantom Menace book. But the Phantom Menace book does have a portion dedicated to Anakin searching for a power cell for his pod racer and parts when he is stranded over night. The Sandpeople actually take Anakin in and provide him with shelter and protection. I felt very strongly that this should have been in the film. It would have shown that the Sandpeople while nomadic, were not complete barbarians. I mean if they were, why wouldn't they simply eradicate them from the planet completely.

I just think it was a corner that Lucas could not write himself out of when it came to AOTC. Maybe the settlers came into a land dispute with the Tuskens and decided to take some of their property and Schmi's capture was just a revenge thing for taking their property. I dunno.

Happens all the time when movies are made. A lot of it has to do with everyone's schedules.

Sometimes new scenes are shot to hammer home a point that didn't work the fist time around.

As for the E1 Yoda/Obi-Wan scene, I seem to recall from The Beginning documentary on the TPM DVD that it was done in Pick-Ups because Lucas wanted to wait and see if the CGI shot of Yoda walking as the scene opens would work or not. So they could be sure to cover it another way if it didn't work out. That's why Lucas shows Frank Oz the footage of it while they're filming the scene in the Documentary. At least that's my understanding of that.

It might not show the entire scene but it is talked about in the book isn't it? So where in the hell did I hear about that?
