But you wold also have to go the other way. Those that say they are buying it, but are too poor to really buy anything. Or kids that hope they'll get it for xmas. Or kids that will mock their parents if they get it for xmas.

I would also think that angry/disappointed people would generally be more likely to vote.

I haven't voted yet but that's because I'm waiting for Barnes and Noble to decide for me. If they ship my preorder I won't complain. If it gets screwed up for some reason I won't go too nuts trying to replace it.

All I should be concerned with is if the PQ, audio, and the supplemental features are fantastic? That's kind of shallow of you to say, isn't it? "WHO CARES AS LONG AS IT LOOKS GOOD?"

The way I see Blu-ray is that it is an archival tool. It carries media on from one generation to another, if the original versions of Star Wars (or any film of that matter) to be lost in time because of one person's personal preference would be a real shame.

As far as this being the only release of Star Wars for awhile, who knows? Everyone said that about Lord of the Rings too and then look what got announced two months later.

Pretty much. He even had the old Sears Cantina Playset with the Error Tall Snaggletooth figure.

I showed him the changes already and we debated it a bit. But he doesn't hate anything he saw.

But he does think some of the reaction online is a bit extreme. But he's not an Internet Guy.

Star Wars holds a special place in our hearts. We just lost our Mom in November, and she's the one who took us to see the movies back in the day. And who used to buy us the toys and such for Birthdays and Christmas. Our Dad was never supportive of Star Wars. Think Red Foreman from That 70's Show. He was never the nicest guy anyway, so that's kinda why RotJ speaks so much to me that I put it above ESB. Just what Anakin/Vader does by sacrificing himself to save his Son. Always choked me up. Still does. But now I'm rambling. But anyway, that's why I'll always hold RotJ in a special place in my heart.

Anyway, how many different Krayt Dragon sounds have been used in the different versions of Star Wars? Is it three now, counting the blu?
