Or the DVD set is phenomenal or they really have to rescan the movies at 4k. They are the same transfers and the gain is minimal. Disappointing set. I already cancelled my pre-order when the "noooooooooo" was confirmed not to be a joke and I still don't regret it.

So the THX Media Director stuff is only on THX devices that specifically have THX Media Director installed?

So a 2008 THX tv, and a 2009 THX AVR should be free of this awfulness???

I would have much preferred the unfinished deleted scenes to have been completed. I can think of exactly ZERO times I've looked at an Ewok and thought 'why don't they blink?'

Something's Lucasfilm seem to carry off with half assed precision the other times they seem to use the whole ass.

I had to laugh yesterday at all the guys getting into a tissy talking about Natalie Portman and possible nipple removal, rest easy my friends Lucasfilm would have to come up with some kind of billionaire dollar computer algorithims to smooth them out and not remove Anakin from the Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

He has a load of screentime in them and is a massive tit....

Even if you had everything needed, I believe you would need to enable it for it to work. Choose or choose not yours is the decision.

I was trying to figure out why all these looked like poop.

Then I saw the JPG sizes and realized that these are heavily compressed Blu-ray images that aren't indicative in any way of what we are going to see next week. Why bother uploading images if you're going to do a trashy job of it?

Well, by that reckoning (which Lucas started, by the way), that would make almost every hero in the whole saga equal to a Sith, because the root of the story is the rise of an evil empire, and different groups of people pursuing absolute justice.

Good is debatable.....

As for this edition, yes I will be buying it. Yes there will probably be another edition down the line that has a potential to be great, but Lucas will #&$* that one up also. As for me enjoying it or not, I will enjoy about 80% of it, the other 18% will be WTF was he thinking, and the last 2% will be laughing at the stupid stuff (no....nooooooooo, blue snow, DNR out the wazoo, a very large door, light sabers that change colors. sorry, can't list them all) THE END

I'm amazed at how bad the geometry was messed up!
