Default oh my goodness!!! 24% not buying!!!

as i'm one of the people that cancelled the pre-order cause of not getting the original trilogy in this set i was surprised that nearly 24% decides not to buy this set!
i knew the outcry about the whole issue, but 24%,that is a insane amount of fans not buying it.
we all know it will shift millions of copies the blu release but it could have been a LOT more tbh if George would have given us the unaltered versions,no doubt in my mind about that!
and let's face it,it's becoming a "parody" in itself Star Wars with ...again changing scenes..just unbelievable,if this continues what will be left of the movies we once loved the way they were?
Cheers George, ill stick to my "old" dvd's,no other choice.

I prefer to watch them in random order at band camp holding my flute.

Hey, anyone know what's going on with my order from _______?
I haven't called them yet and thought that some unknown person on the Internet not affiliated with _______ might know the answer.

Help me Odi-Juan, you're my only hope.

Twenty-four percent of what population? Bluray.com forum subscribers? Hardly a dent in the amount that will be handed over the counters on Friday morning/afternoon/evening and beyond to happy patrons.

Someone with the set please tell me if the Vader choking Jerrjerod near the Royal Guards is in the deleted scenes? What is it labeled under? I hear the Jerrjerod's conflict is a scene where Jerrjerod has been ordered to fire on Endor because the deflector shield is down. Are both scenes on there???

A quarter of the fan based lost in sales is something.
I expect it to be larger.

Also, J6P who is not a huge SW fan or follower is happy with their DVD's, which look great on their new HDTV's at +2x the viewing distance & TV speakers.

Oh my goodness the total keeps going up for those that are buying these as well as the number#1 spot on amazon still unchanged.

Counter-view? In here? Nah, will never happen!!!

Besides, my opinions sound factual because they are factual. No one agrees with me more than I do. I guarantee that!

Well... it's Star Wars.

This is gonna sell like H in Baltimore to J6P, any J6P who likes his Hi-Def, that is.

Just like the reviews at Amazon, the spot on their selling chart mean nothing without numbers.
It has a 2 star rating.

The only major documentary missing (that wasn't already on the prior DVDs, which I recommend keeping since the BDs don't carry over many of the DVD extras) is 1983's "From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga". It's currently available second-hand on VHS (best US release format available) or on Japanese Laserdisc (with burnt-in Japanese subtitles).

You could argue that the 2007 TV documentary "Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed" is also "missing", but it's been 4 years and the History Channel still hasn't put it out on home video (excepting Emmy award screeners) so I doubt it'll ever get an official release.

So you're basically saying that 24% of an already small population of bluray.com forum members is a huge number in the overall picture of the entire world's Star Wars fans?

Can we have a math teacher better explain this concept??

Or, if I ask 4 people if they like Star Wars, and 3 of them said no, I should go around saying that 75% of the people hate Star Wars.

Big picture, man, big picture.

I trust the number will decrease once these are available cause Lucas has given FANS a choice of what to buy now as far as which set will sell better that's another story.

The reviews on amazon are those people that are complaining about not having the UOT.

And look at the OT blu and the PT blu they have 3 1/2 stars on amazon.

Strange huh.

I think if you like the prequels get those. I am sure episode III will look and sound amazing. The whole thing, I wouldn't get, considering the way lucas has completly butchered the ot. Its not worth it. I was debating whether to get this before of the changes, after I saw the new ones, and with the old ones still there, no reason to buy this.
