What do you guys think are the odds that each of the 6 movies will be available to purchase individually on blu by Black Friday? I remember they did this on Amazon with LOTR, and each movie was available on blu for just $9.99 each.......

My bet... don't expect an indvidual release of the films until the 3-D releases. And then you get 1 a year.

I hope in 3D version George is going to add HUD with Obi-Wan's Force level.

Any one have a pic of the Target lithographs? Just curious what they look like or how big they are.

I'm going to pick this up on Black Friday of 2012. Do you know what the price will be? Also, will I have difficulty in traffic getting to the store due to snowfall? I would also like to know if there are any changes to the original films, if they are good changes, and what the extras are. Oh, and does it come in any kind of packaging?

If someone who has the discs could use their camera to make a video of the entire set as it's playing, while concurrently playing the previous DVDs, LDs, and original 35mm projection elements and analyzing the differences in scenes, image, and sound mix, I'd really appreciate it. There's this one moment I remember from each film when I saw them theatrically where you can hear something and I'd like to know if it's still there.

What will the extras, changes, and price be on the 3D release (when I pick it up two years later on Black Friday; see questions set #1 above)? Will Leia in the metal bikini look real enough to give me a chubby?

In closing, a link to an outdated report from weeks/months/years ago, a badly compressed "screengrab" I'm freaking out about, and/or a YouTube link to some fan film that we've all seen but I think is from the BD release.

Does that about sum up the bulk of the page count lately?

Yes, it is.

"Jerjerrod gets choked by Vader, then isn't happy be given the order to fire on his own troops. THere's actually quite a few cutaways. This would have been really cool in the film and added more tension. He actually gives the order to blow up the Endor moon! Non of the DS gunners are happy with the order. Very cool."

OdyM, thanks for telling me that! I think those scenes were supposed to be totally separate if they were put into the film, the choke scene came much earlier in the movie, when the Vader tries to go up to the Emperor's throne room. Do you see the Royal Guards in the scene? I saw the "Jerrjerod's Conflict" scene as only lasting 22 seconds on a runtime stats list. Didn't seem like enough time to fit both of those in, unless what I read was wrong.

There are two deleted scenes with Jerjerrod. The question is which one is included on the blu ray disc?

Scene 1:

Scene 2:

Saw those four pages w/ the complete listings of changes to the SW movies through time.

The No. NOOO bugs me a bit, yes. But not enough to cancel a order or anything or not buy it.

Has anybody else who ordered from Amazon gotten a shipping yet and will be getting the set early? I saw one on here so far who said they are getting it Wednesday. I will re-order from Amazon if I can get it a few days early.

I for one am tired of the tinkering and money grabbing by Lucas. I'll be taking a pass until Costco is blowing the full box set out at $19.99.....to make room for the Super Amazing Spectacular Special Edition down the road, lol.

Both scenes are included.

Got my hands on the US version today... what a great set. The OT deleted scenes are really fun to watch, some of them are so good I wish they were kept in the movies, like the Jerjerrod scenes!

I wouldn't put to much faith in that. I seriously doubt they won't start shipping till Wednesday at the earliest. I have mine pre-ordered with same day shipping and it is just sitting there doing nothing.

I was hoping Star Wars might be something like that.

And as for the outer packaging ... well, I don't think I'm being childish, but I personally feel no resonance at all with the cover artwork. Graphically it doesn't reflect the art design of any of the movies, so: no matter that it's got Anakin (and some Other Indeterminate Person), no matter that it's on Tatooine, it just doesn't say Star Wars to me.
I felt that way about the packaging the Complete Saga is coming in until I took a good look at it. then I realized it somewhat "poetic" with little Anakin facing the front as his story begins the saga and Luke's (you know that's who the "indeterminate person" is) back is turned walking away since his story ends the saga.

I think this was discussed earlier, can't remember. Does best buy have extra stock to put on the shelves to go along with all the reservations that were placed online via in store pick-up? All the BB's around my area are "unavailable for in store pick up", so I was wondering if they will be completely sold out.

Thanks!
I guess you could contact you local Best Buy. When I pre-ordered mine all the stores showed available for pre-order. When I checked earlier today only one store showed available for pre-order.
